| The three main factions for the Tawfret storyline.
The Militia: A group of sane people, not affected by the corruption of Phazon, who grouped together, fighting off Phazon mutants and other dangers, protecting civilians and other friendly survivors. They wear scavenged Federation hazard suits. Led by Talon Sanctis. Current status: Wiped out, with Talon Sanctis being the only remnant.
The Demons: Horrible beasts mutated by Phazon, former humans, aliens, and animals, changed into monstrous beasts that kill anything that moves. Sometimes assist Blue Crazies depending on the situation. Very corrupted humans from the leviathan impact area fall under this category. They move with very zombie-like motions, their armor fused to their body irreversibly. These ones are known as dark ones. Current Status: Still wandering the planet
The Blue Crazies: Also known as raiders, people corrupted by the Phazon energy on the planet. Led by the most corrupted and strong one, known by them(and the Militia) as the Immortan, who is mutated by Phazon to the point where his physical skills are augmented. Often use unconventional tactics such as grenade suicide strikes and charging into gunfire with melee weapons, even explosive tipped melee weapons, in addition to using guns like normal people. They never wear armor, believing dying for the immortan in battle is the highest form of honor. Current status: Still around, though weakened by Talon Sanctis killing their leader.

| Heh, that "Avatar of Phazon" sounds a lot like Rowan Walker. Well, in a way, but it's probably just character bias since I made him as a walking Phazon planet. | |

| I dropped the avatar idea now because I figured someone who rose to be their leader through actual effort was more interesting than someone who was assigned the position. And I might have based this plotline off pretty much every piece of post apocalypse fiction I could think of, but put a metroid twist on it with the Phazon being the cause of everything. | |

| I was thinking of making a profile for the Immortan, but he's a one-off character and I was told one-offs didn't need to be registered. He's not too overpowered, he's pretty much got the power level Talon Aran had when he was first registered. | |

| Then he'll probably make a pretty good boss character for the endgame of the RP. Once again, I'm looking forward to it. | |

| It will be kinda weird having an RP happen with a set ending to it, but it should be pretty fun. | |

| Yeah, though lots of RPs are like that actually, not many (at least tabletop) are quite as ad-lib (uh, spontaneous, unplanned, I'm lookin' for the right word, but I just don't seem to be finding it) as ours are. What's that style of IMPROV! that's it. Improvisational, most RPs done aren't usually as improvised as the ones we do on this site and TFRP. | |

| REVISED Tawfret storyline stuff(Planning on rebooting the storyline): The Tawfretian Authority(working title): A faction led by former Federation ship captain Robert Horrigan. Uses remnants of Federation technology, both from the GFS Ragnarok and the abandoned Federation military base near the crash site. They are based in the city the ship crashed in, still mostly intact due to being on the other side of the planet from the impact. The faction is composed of both former Federation soldiers and trained civilians, including former bandits and raiders, along with noncombatant citizens under their protection. They are known to immediately shoot anyone with any sign of Phazon mutation or "Blue Sickness", even if they don't have it at all(They have no technology that can scan for Phazon, as the Federation had none of this until long after the Tawfret collapse happened.).
Bandits: Just scattered bandit groups of various names, usually regular humans but there are the occasional (relatively) sane mutants.
Scavengers: Not really a faction, really just less asshole-ish bandits. Often go to the surface for supplies if they have hazard suits, otherwise they search the tunnels for supplies. Of course the occasional hostile bandit group makes for a great source of supplies. Often avoid the Tawfretian Authority whenever possible, as many of them are mutated in some way. Talon Sanctis would fall under this faction.
Settlers: Survivors who live in the underground tunnels of the planet, either under the protection of Bandits(who take periodic payments) or scavengers. Those that manage to make it through the tunnel network to make it to the less damaged parts of the world often take the protection of the Tawfretian Authority, unless they're gunned down first for signs of mutation.
Federation science team: A group of people sent down to analyze the Phazon on the planet, with numerous soldiers as armed escorts. Often mistaken for Tawfretian Authority soldiers despite the different color of armor.
"Demons": Phazon mutations, called demons by the local population. They are sided with nobody, and they range from simple men driven crazy by the Phazon to mutations where it is impossible to tell what they originally were. | |

| Space Pirates: The Space Pirates have set up a small-ish base on Tawfret, close to the Leviathan where they set up a Phazon Mine. They constantly fight off mutants, but otherwise there isn't much of a threat to them due to nobody else wanting to get that close to the leviathan. | |
