Escape from Tawfret (Prime era) (Edit: Non-canon)

Talon Sanctis fired a burst of shots toward the group of raiders, wearing her usual hazard suit with the helmet retracted into the armor. The "uniform" of the Tawfret militia, though hers had the shoulder spraypainted red to indicate her rank. Her and a group of soldiers were holding off the tunnel to Sanctuary, the name given to one of the few surviving underground cities not taken over by Immortan Rob's raiders.  One charged her and her group, wielding a machete and swinging it wildly at one of them. It hit the soldier in the side, causing him to grunt in pain as he pulled his sidearm and shot the man several times in the chest, piercing through and hitting another raider in the side.
The sickly, bald raider looked to the wounded soldier, taking a blue glowing syringe out of his pocket and sticking himself with it, the blue veins along his body glowing as he pulled out a grenade. "WITNESS ME!" he shouted, the others shouting "WITNESS" as he sprinted for the group with the activated grenade, ready to die a hero for his leader. Talon tripped the raider, catching his dropped grenade in midair, and tossed it right at the rest of the raider group, detonating and killing them off, while also sealing off half of the tunnel, stomping the raider's head to kill him. Particularly brutal way to kill an enemy, but ammo was scarce. The militia didn't have access to a bullet manufacturing plant like the Blue Crazies did.

This was a usual occurrence for people on the planet Tawfret, ever since ten years ago when Immortan Rob rose to power, taking a sizeable chunk of the planet under his control using his raiders. All corrupted and driven crazy by the blue rock that fell from the sky and devastated the planet decades ago. They mostly kept to themselves, with the occasional raid, but every since the demons on the surface started to attack they decided they needed to take over much more land. Talon reloaded her rifle, getting ready to go back to the town to rest, the medics fixing up the wounded man. Talon took the machete for herself, deciding she needed a bladed weapon. The bat she was using wasn't quite effective for dealing with multiple enemies.

"Well, this planet just SCREAMS interesting. *chuckle*" Rowan stares down at the planet Tawfret, admiring the phazon corruption, investigating the scar from the Leviathan impact. "Let's go check it out, shall we?" Eleven voices speak in unison "Yes, Let's." before the entity flies down to the planet's surface, surrounded in a phazon shell resembling a hunter-class gunship.

The next day(The day Rowan arrives)

Talon rested at the base, then reequipped herself, counting how many bullets she had left for her guns. Her pistols still had full 20-round magazines, but her rifle only had a couple 30 round ones left. She had to save her ammo up, which meant she needed to avoid blue crazies as much as possible. She took a couple other men with her for the weekly surface scavenging run.

They put on their hazard suits along with the helmets, opening the gate to the outside world. Snow blew into the airlock hall, the planet covered in snow due to a sort of nuclear winter effect brought about by the big blue rock's impact. The hazard suits were there both to keep the group warm, and to protect them from the blue poison in the air all across the planet. On the surface, Blue Crazies only needed to wear coats, because they took being more corrupted as a power boost. The blast door shut behind them, Talon holding her assault rifle as she walked alongside her group, the Militia members Jack and Zoey. Roland usually came along with them, but he was injured in the attack the day before..

*Deep sounding chuckle* "Humans, huh?" Rowan says to himself, not far from landing. He had entered stealth mode not long prior, and was currently hovering a few hundred feet above the ground, looking down at the suited humans emerging from their underground lair. "Let's play with them." He says to himself, hovering a ways off until he judged he would be at the correct position, and then drops himself at full speed directly in front of the scavenging party, creating a shockwave of snow and a small crater where he lands. "Hello children, let's play a game, shall we?"

Talon held her fire, even though she was almost completely sure that the newcomer was some form of Blue Crazy. Ammo needed to be preserved, and she wasn't sure he was a threat. Jack didn't have the same idea, though. "It's a fucking demon!" he shouted, firing a burst right at Rowan.

"Oh, right into the heat already! I LOVE IT!" Rowan says, producing a phazite shield in front of himself to block the bullets coming his way just before he begins firing shots of his own from said shield (made of special phazon). "Enjoy the presents kids!" He says before diving away, the 13x13 small orbs exploding upon impact with every surface they contact, whether fleshy or wall (The detonations in question are not, however, deadly. or even all that painful, basically just really powerful flashbangs. I only just now (9:31) remembered that had been part of my original plan). "Hope you like 'em!" And then in a deeper, more guttural voice "My kinda party! Let's get more into it!" *Twelve simultaneous voices* "HELL YEAH!" Rowan then charges forward towards the group, his right arm growing a blade running along the outer bone from the elbow down past his hand by a good two feet (disconnecting from his arm at the wrist).

"Get down!" Talon yelled to her squad, the group dropping off a small ledge to avoid the explosions, sitting behind the cover. Jack stood up from behind the cover, unloading his rifle into the demon. Which left him wide open to be sliced in half.

Rowan laughs uproariously as the militiaman unloads his rifle at him, even more so when the bullets ricochet harmlessly off of his phazite plating. "ANNNDD!...STRIKE!" He yells, jumping into the air and coming down blade arm first at the man's head, his blade arm making a definite audible "KONK!" sound as it harmlessly impacts the soldier's helmet. It does, however, release tendrils of phazon that tie the man up quite tightly, preventing him from moving any more than a small wiggle. "One down." Rowan says, looking at the rest of the squad of armored militia, the look in his eyes mirroring those of a predator stalking his prey, and he looks almost hungry as he eyes them ferociously. "I hope you're ready for this children. *softly* 'Cause here I come."

Talon looked on with confusion, seeing Jack get wrapped up in tendrils. Jack's suit's geiger counter was going off very loudly in his helmet, but his suit kept the Phazon radiation from damaging him. Zoey was about to fire at it, but Talon lowered her weapon for her. "Bullets don't do shit to him, just run!" she said as she helped her up, trying to run back to the base.
"Hey don't leave me here, assholes!" Jack said.

((I feel like an ass for not mentioning it now, but he used one of his variant phazons, his body produces an unknown number of different varieties of phazon, and some are non-radioactive (some are even safe for human ingestion), he used one of those for the bindings, no use being non-lethal if the poor bastard is gonna die from phazon radiation after all.))
"Don't worry, they'll be joining you soon. This'll be the loser pile. Tag ends in twenty minutes though, I've got things I need to kill and places I need to do, so we can't keep this on for too long. Wiggle a bit to keep warm, 'k kid?" Rowan says to the tied up human before he runs off after the others. He holds out his right hand suddenly, phazon concentrating there and taking a form similar to a grenade "Fire in the hole!!" he yells, just before throwing the semi-rounded object out in front of the fleeing group. (the "grenade" is harmless, basically it's just a flashbang that fires out soft BBs like a frag launches shrapnel, so won't do any real harm to humans -regardless of them being armored or not- but those BBs are made of the same phazon currently tying up Jack, so if enough hit one of the troops, they'll merge together and tie up the poor fool. I'll leave that to you, decision wise.)

Jack looked to him with a look of complete confusion, the look could even be seen through his helmet.
Zoey was caught in the Phazon bb blast, alongside Talon, both of them getting tied up in the blue stuff, landing on the ground. Talon tried to shake free of it, but it really only got her buried in snow.

((Yeah, sorry for not responding quickly, you sent that not long after I left my computer to watch season 13 of Red VS Blue with my mother. Also, is that everyone in the scavenging party? Or are there more people? I can't post very much without that knowledge)
"Alrighty then. Let's get you two in the loser pile." Rowan says, picking the two soldiers up by the phazon tendrils keeping them immobile and carrying them over to where the previously fallen soldier lay, still tied up like some perverted bondage experiment mixed with a hogtie and standard captured prisoner tying. He then tosses them on top of their fellow before looking around for any other potential targets.
(well now I feel like a jackass and an idiot, I just reread your second post, and saw that only Jack, Zoey, and Talon were in the party to begin with. that doesn't really change his actions or anything, he's still unsure of whether the other lifeforms in the surrounding areas are with them or not)

Talon struggled against the blue ropes she was tied in. What was this guy doing? Were they being captured to be corrupted like she heard the Immortan does to prisoners? She still didn't quite understand what was going on.

"What, Aren't there more of you? Damn, I was hoping the you'd be able to last at least a minute against me, no one ever lasts. *Under breath* I'm always being left unsatisfied. *sigh* Alright, you can get lost now kids." Rowan says, snapping his fingers and recalling the phazon he had expelled back into his body. "*muttering* God damn...--- fucking..--- -- pussy ass -- ---- *Grumble, Grumble*" Rowan walks off, leaving the three scavengers to their own devices, unharmed and damn near untouched.

The group slowly got up, looking for their weapons in the snow. Talon thought to follow Rowan to question what he was going before, but just shrugged and picked up her rifle, brushing snow off of it. "Don't know what that was about, but lets find some stuff. Maybe we'll get lucky and find food this time," Jack said, as they got ready to wander again. Cautiously walking around, making sure not to alert any blue crazies or demons.

Robert Horrigan sat in his throne room, the throne being the old captain's chair, only with additional spikes behind it, the throne room being in the bridge of the ship he commanded when he was a Federation ship captain, the GFS Ragnarok. He wore a trenchcoat, with no shirt on underneath even outside, with long blonde hair, the blue glowing veins indicating an Ascended being coursing across his body. Unlike the militia cowards, his men didn't mind the cold, or the blue energy that gave men power.
One of his men barged through the door, irritating him a bit. He didn't like when people came in uninvited, especially during his comfortable "stare out the window on his throne and think" time. "What is it?" "Immortan, some of our men found the location of Sanctuary, but it got blocked off by rocks," the blue crazy said. "Good, we'll attack in a week. Tell the men to get prepared," the Immortan said. The blue crazy nodded enthusiastically and ran off to the radios. Being even acknowledged by the Immortan was seen as one of the highest honors. Rob went back to sitting in peace.

After a considerable period of time spent simply wandering, Rowan came across a ship, looking to be of federation origin. "Well, and here I was starting to think I wouldn't get any fun." *Wry chuckle* "Let's check it out." He says, before jumping up the sides of buildings and the body of the ship, his form devolving into a pure phazon body (rather than keep up his human skin look, though he's still humanoid in body shape) as he gets higher and higher. "Window." he says, his voice seeming to resonate with the air, making a strange vibrating effect to its sound. This, along with the deepness and multiple voices speaking at once, give him the sound of something otherworldly, though it's not clear whether it would be angelic, or demonic. He finally arrives at the large windows on the front of the bridge, levitating in place around the middle of their height and moving side to side along their length, examining the contents of the bridge closely. His body goes beyond glowing like phazon, he truly emanates the blue poison from every angle, and a number of phazon tendrils (similar to those that planets decaying into phazon produce) have sprouted from his back and other strategic locations.

Rob looked to the being outside his window, raising an eyebrow but otherwise just sitting and watching it, resting the side of his head on his fist. He waves to the thing casually, thinking that it's simply another one of the blue beasts that lurked around the planet. And they knew not to harm the Immortan. Really it was because he was so corrupted that the beasts saw him as one of them, but he didn't know or care.

The scavenger group came across a building with a ruined hanger inside, looking on at an actually workable ship that they found. "What a piece of shit," Jack said as he looked at it. "Yeah, it's a rusty piece of shit, but if we fix it up we could get everyone off this world, it actually looks pretty intact," Talon suggested. "Zoey, you're the one who read those ship mechanic manuals, see what we need inside the ship," she said. "On it," Zoey said as she walked into the ship through the loading ramp. Talon and Jack stood guard in front of the ship.


(Something that just occurred to me, I didn't describe how the underground cities like sanctuary actually are. They're shelters made to survive orbital bombardment, or things of the like, that connect to underground tunnel networks. They have working electricity due to very powerful generators, and they're rather big, being able to comfortably house about 500+ people. The only problem is their food supplies aren't exactly meant for a 20 year lifespan. Think Vaults from Fallout.)

Rowan raises an eyebrow (though it would appear as the upper right side of his forehead raising and creasing slightly to an onlooker) as he thinks to himself "Man that is one corrupted human. I'mma play with it." before transforming his right arm into a drill like apparatus and thrusting it into the window of the ship, making a small crack at first before the drill begins spinning at extremely high speeds. By the end of a twelve second drill period, he has made a two inch circular opening in the window, which he promptly passes through by liquefying and oozing through the hole at high speeds. He resumes his humanoid solid phazon form on the other side in the bridge of the large ship before looking at the corrupted human and saying "I want to play...A game."

"I figured you things knew not to bother me, I suppose I'm going to have to teach you," the Immortan said as he stood up from his throne, kicking it back. The chair sliding back toward the back wall. Popping his neck, he made a lunging-forward motion, appearing to vanish in a blur before appearing right on Rowan, his fist going for his face at extreme speeds. The wind from his move sent dust and small bits of debris on the floor flying, and even ripped one nonfunctional terminal right out of the ground.

"Know not to bother a human?! HAH!" Rowan proceeds to laugh hysterically, catching the corrupted human's hand effortlessly. "Please, you humans couldn't hurt me with an anti-planetary weapon, what exactly makes you think one tiny human with a little bit of phazon corruption could do to a walking phazon planet?" He says, leaning in, his face almost touching the human's "You're simply outclassed." Rowan lifts the corrupted human up by the hand he was still holding and launches him into the far wall opposite the window. "You've got no chance! But I will admit, you're doing a hell of a lot better than those kids in the armor. Keep up this pace, and maybe in two, three thousand years you could knock a chunk off my body." Rowan then liquefies once more, exiting through the same hole he entered in, reforming his head temporarily while the rest of his body was outside to say "And keep your ship in better shape, this is just neglectful." before leaving completely.

(I don't mean to be rude, but does Rowan do literally anything but show up, show how powerful he is, then leave? It's pretty much all I've seen him do in this RP and it gets annoying especially when I'm trying to establish a character as a powerful warlord and he just wanders in and stomps him in a very god-moddy way. I was fine with it with the scavenger interaction but this is seriously pushing it.)


(Edit: I'm also gonna be out for a few days in a few hours, sorry to leave on a note like that but it does get a bit frustrating especially when I'm tired.)

((Look, I'll be honest, I'm just having trouble finding a way to fit him into this RP. I understand what you're saying, I genuinely do, but that's about all I can have him do under the circumstances. I was expecting zombies on a recently struck planet, which he would work just fine when involved in, but now it's something completely different from what it originally was (so, good choice on the new planning thread) and he just doesn't fit into the story outside of "He's phazon, they're phazon corrupted, all's good" kind of way. The bigger problem is he's basically one of my only characters who goes back that far into the metroid timeline, and he's the only one who would have a reason to be there, ANY reason. Being completely honest, none of the characters I have fit into this RP at all, and I'm trying to make it work, but I'm ending up playing Rowan the exact same way he appears in my head, which would be damn near, to actually god mode level when interacting with another player-type. And I apologize for that, I really do. Honestly, I want to see where this RP goes, what kind of direction it could take, but with my roster and my inability to think of any reasonable way for the characters I have to interact with the important entities present in this RP, I'm thinking I just don't belong as any part of it.))

(Really, really sorry for going off like that. And I'm sorry for dropping the whole zombie aspect in favor of a Mad Max-Metro 2033-Fallout-meets Phazon setting without really saying that clearly, I just sorta find the idea of a character whose whole backstory is they survived a world like that and left the planet interesting.
I mean this in the least dickish way possible, but I shouldn't have allowed Rowan, I should've had a power level cap for this RP. I would actually kinda suggest making a new character from Sanctuary that actually manages to survive along with Sanctis(maybe as part of the scavenger group), but I dunno. I was also planning on having Federation researchers drop in to study the Phazon(among other things), maybe a bounty hunter/Federation soldier that joins with as an escort?
I feel like I regulate this particular story way too much just because it's a set backstory for a character.)

(Yeah. I don't really know how well I would be able to make a new character for this, but I'll try, at least in the near future. If you wanted we could just kind of mark the stuff with Rowan as *Non-Canon* testing that failed, or he could leave the planet because he's bored or something.)

(It was all fine until the Immortan encounter, we could just consider that part non-canon. I really wasn't as angry about it as I sounded, just I feel it kinda undermines the point of having a boss character antagonist if he can get thrown around that easily is all. And I dunno I just kinda feel like having a character be that powerful yet also being kinda neutral in this sort of RP(where it's more human vs human based) could lead to really bad cases of either deus ex machinas(if he interferes) or cases like Rowan allowing what will happen to Sanctuary to happen without interfering or helping, which will make him come off as a major dick.
I just feel this isn't the story for that kind of character, I'm sorry. He's a good character otherwise, this story just isn't really the place for him.)
