I get pretty competitive on Call of Duty when playing online. I have a mic pretty much only to hear other people talk. I only talk if talked to. But if I do have my mic on, and I know it's on, I watch what I say. Like I said, I am very competitive for online games. On CoD I have a 'policy' where if I have 3 more deaths than I do kills, I leave the match. I like having a good kill/death ratio. It's a personal achievement for me and I don't like it when someone tarnishes it. But I keep my mic off, still doesn't stop me from saying insults and whatnot (I am getting better at using less 'foul' words), but I play fairly and don't ruin it for my fellow players.

and I know it's on, I watch what I say That shows the most respect and 90% of the time, they don't.

. Sure, I am guilty of name calling and bad language, but at least noone can hear me. It just saddens me that so many disrespect for the sake of own self gain. that's the bottom line for me.

Well I kinda stopped the whole '3 deaths more than kills' policy. Now it's just if I'm in a bad lobby where people on the other team are just too cheap, cheating, or plain out kicking our ass. My foul language has gotten worse since the last post here, but there are times I can control it briefly. There was only one time so far where I was too pissed to even bitch about how bad the match was. I try to play music to set the mood or calm me down a bit. It helps... for a while. Eventually I go back to how I was before I put on the music. And my foul language has gotten me in trouble and got the Internet pulled right in mid match. Luckily for me I still can play against bots on Black Ops local multiplayer, play Minecraft or play on my PSP.
