massive multi-game-spanning RP

Okay, the first thing I need to note is that this RP is non-canon. It does not affect the current RP storylines in any way. The second thing is that it takes place in the past for the most part (from most of the recent RPs), the third is that it will take a long time to do, the fourth is that it is open to all people who want to join as long as the specific portion of the RP is not already finished at that time (you have to register through this plan RP part first however, don't just post in the RP itself), the fifth is that you DO have to finish the RPs you play in, don't just join and then quit. If you think you won't be able to go through with it to the end, then either A: don't join, or B: if something in life turns up while you are a part of the RP, then let us know and either A: we go on from just before the player in question joined as if they hadn't and then do a separate RP with the player at a later date (I will at least, I can't vouch for anyone else) that will essentially be what they missed out on, or B: the player in question should find a way to kill of the character in an awesome and fitting way for them (such as going down fighting off a horde of the strongest enemies to save the others). Now, on to the actual planning.

This RP is essentially a re-imagining of the entire metroid series to date after the first game, so it takes place during metroid prime one to metroid fusion (metroid prime hunters is not one that I personally will do, I don't think of that game as a metroid game due to the lack of metroids. it may be a fine game, or even a good to great one, but in my opinion it is not a real metroid game), and could take years to finish. in this RP Samus will be joined by a small (but possibly growing) group of strong hunters for hire and a smaller group of federation PED troopers (after prime three, before they're just regular marines) who help her in whatever way they can. eventually they can become friends, relationships can be born, and smaller pairings can be made (best finisher I could think of), and at the beginning their could be animosity (I do believe that's the word) between characters, but it could be resolved over time. updates to the player/character list for this/these RPs will be made over time in this RP plan as new players and/or characters are added to the group.

Do you want to really do it (anytime soon at least)? also, sorry for not responding earlier, I was sleeping. I went for all of yesterday on three hours of sleep, so more was very required by my body. also, do you think that you would be able to go from the first RP of many to the end of the very last one?

Probably. I don't do much so I go online pretty much every day unless I'm at my dad's house(Which is every couple weekends).

I'd prefer to start later, though you could start now if you want.

I don't mind starting later. I just would like an estimate of when if possible is all. besides, I was pretty much asking to be polite. It is getting late, based on past stuff, you will probably (by my estimation) be going to bed soon anyway. The main important thing right now is that I know you are going to be in on it.

I'm okay with now. Planetary start is Talon IV, but the RP starts on his ship and works it's way (over a somewhat short period of time) to actually getting to the planet. Do you think we should do the first one in galaxy instead?

Would it start out before the experiment or after(Even right after)? Just have to make sure for my character. The experiment happened after Prime 1.

Okay, thing is, Espera has created a machine that breaches the laws of temporal dynamics. This machine allows for massive time jumps, and as long as the someone has the "key" and the know-how for using it, all participants of the jump can return to their original time without any changes to their original timeline, but another one is made which they can return to as if they never left at any time.
(it's like the dalorian (I don't know how to spell it) time machine, but better because it isn't limited by the space of a car and the level of technology that person had access to.)

So this RP takes place in the alternate timeline that the time device causes?

Yep, Espera wanted to go back to make Samus' life easier in most ways, and also experience the things he couldn't before. He invited Talon along because he's her brother and he felt that Talon deserved to get to spend more time with Samus. The Talon of the past is still in the past as well, but the time machine prevents paradoxes, so Talon(future) could kill Talon(past) without any repercussions on the time-stream.

Past-Talon would probably not be on Tallon IV at the time anyway, though if this RP goes how I expect it to, I want to eventually have a Talon vs Talon fight when past Talon gets his powers.

Well, It's entirely possible for that to happen. I didn't quite mean it like that however. I didn't actually think past-Talon would be coming in during the very first RP in this series, I was expecting him to come in later as an important plot point/device.
