Similarities

I couldn't help but see this similarity....

The dark samus concept art there on the very left of the picture. I don't know about you...but the helmet and visor as well as a bit of the neck are VERY similar to a Mandalorian Neo-crusader, maybe not the rest of the body, but the neck helmet and visor all made me think of the good ol mando'ade.

What do you think? What are there a lot of similarities between dark samus and something outside of Metroid? Or not just for Dark Samus, but for any of the characters/creatures/ect ect ect.

When I played MP3 Corruption I overheard two Fed Pilots mentioning the Horus rebellion and how the number of ships used during that event, Could this be the metroid equvelant of the Horus rebellion from warhammer 40k.

wait o.o you mean there WAS an actual horus rebellion in metroid?

Here's another 40k similarity, a demon named Samus

Only thing is, this daemon is shown to be a guy. But than again, daemons can take different forms.

The daemon mentioned is more of a spiritual form rather than a physical one because it is never seen in the novel but only heard and only shows itself when it posseses someone mainly Jubal from the Luna wolves tactical squad but only If that character shows signs of anger and that is triggered because of his jelosy of Loken.
Chaos can be rather mysterious like that and dangerous.

I should totally make a character similar to a blood angels death company unit xD those guys are so badass(One cut a dreadnought in half with his power sword AFTER getting stepped on it)

But yeah, there are tons of similarities, but that neo-mandalorian crusader and dark samus picture struck me the most. Wonder if their design team has some mandalorian fans amongst them....

I am currently thinking of ideas for my next character for my Alpha Legions organization based off the space marines. Im sure you are going to love it.

Basically genetically augmented humans which are designed to be super soldiers but are low in number? :3 yeah i will, in fact i probably wouldn't mind joining that.
