Planning a roleplay, specifically from the pirate's point of view

I was wanting to do an RP from the point of view of the space pirates. Perhaps establishing a new base on a world. The initial challenges would come from the environment, and hostile local creatures or inhabitants. Would anyone be interested in joining? I will be using Doak (LINK)

I suppose I can bring in Apollo the elite pirate with an orkish ego

I was thinking of having the RP take place on SR 388, and the pirates wanted to start experimenting with X parasites.

The X can't be touched without infection. They phase through solid walls. Samus' weapons can't harm them. They can't be experimented with.

Well, yeah. The pirates would discover that soon enough. Phazon and metroids were dangerous too, but that didn't stop them from trying to experiment on them either.

And they did. At any rate, I'd like to be in this, if I get the t&e to make a Space Pirate, too.

I have Ridley.

I suppose I could also make a pirate character.

Just Ridley is fine, you don't need to specifically make a new character for this RP. The base or station probably will need a commander anyway. But for the moment, I'd prefer it if it was just space pirates and any allies were in this just yet. I'd rather have them get a chance to be well established before the GF and bounty hunters arrive in force. A little espionage is fine though.

But anyone can join if they have a character that fits.

Ill Join in. I m a bounty hunter so I'm flexible. i can say the pirates hired me.

The only problem is that Samuel is an elite GF soldier. He, by himself, is WAYYYY more than a little espionage.

No, it's in the bio. Read it. He's high up- it only makes sense that he would be infamous among Pirates.

I'm more worried about hunters coming in and single-handedly smashing up the base before it gets anywhere. If Samuel's mission is to find information or such like, that would be doable.

Well, Samuel is also a hothead, if anyone remembers, as well as gung-ho. He's a shoot em' up type of guy.

Since Cyrus in his current phazon enduced state has an incredible urge to seek more power, he could come and take advantage of experimenting with the X.

well, since they can phase through walls, they're probably plasmic, or perhaps a collection of gamma ray projections or atomically funkified, like if they were really cold or hot. (probably hot, so it would explain a good chunk of these possible circumstances). So they could be experimented with if there were a non-solid way of containing them.
