Conspiracy and Chaos: The end of the Federation

What if we took an RP where members of the Pirates and Federation continued a battle on x planet (Federal Controlled), while a group of members of the federation conspired to take power, and turn the Federation into an Empire, with Rebels now aiding pirates in battle, thus turning the tables. I would like some input and other ideas before I try and lift this off the ground.

I'm now wondering why I asked you that when you said the idea sounded interesting.

I was thinking earth should be the planet where the planet where the battle is happening. Part of the idea could be that the people conspiring to take over the federation are using the fact that earth is being attacked as a reason to convert the federation into an empire.

I'm willing to try this. I think I'll get Alex killed off in the other roleplay I am in. I always built him to go down swinging...

I'd of thought he'd go down better than getting himself infected by a virus... Though when he got himself bit, I kinda figured you were either trying to dramatize the RP or killing him off...

Once I found myself in the position to kill Alex off, I took the chance. I was finding that I disliked him... he seemed like Aryss once was, and I knew I did something wrong. so, I'm sending him to the scrap heap. anyway, so are you interested in this rp, Rildok?

This would be a major thing and many PCs would be involved. I think it'd be kinda fun. Sure!

So what characters do we want to bring into this?

I want to bring my only character into this.

I actually had a similar idea to this after I finished Metroid Fusion a long time ago, except Samus was the one starting the Resistance.

Its a cool idea, thats for sure.

I think the Resistance should be a Faction, but I'm not entirely sure how to make a Faction.

There's a template I believe to make one somewhere on here.

It could be anyone really. Heck, make a new character just for this RP if you want to.

I say Bob the Space Farmer should be the leader.

I would almost want to pick this up if it weren't for the fact that it would interfere with the Legacy Era, and we don't have...like, half of the members, ...actually 3/4-3/5 of the members who would be a part of it originally. Though, I guess the other two could be contacted, it just seems unlikely that they would come back.
