Space Pirate Invasion : Take 2

Since the last one fell apart, it's time to kick off another story. Personally, I'm leaning towards a pre-Prime 1 takeover of Tallon IV, but that's up for debate.
Anyone else feel like being responsible for putting a planet out of whack? Or trying to stop us, hmmm?
(If you wanna stop us, wait for at least one or two large bases to be established. THEN you can come in and try to blow shit up.)

I'd join, but if it's pre-Prime 1 then Talon won't have his powers due to the experiment that gave him them occurring post-Prime. Maybe a pre-Echoes takeover of Aether?

I'm always up for an RP. But crazy has a point.

Ugh... I was hoping nobody would suggest Aether... The Ing really fucking freak me out. I had nightmares about them for weeks after I played Echoes. And that was only last year.

But I don't really mind where the Pirates... Er, liberate, as long as I get to bust some local's heads while I'm at it... Oh, boy... Why did I make him sadistic. Curse my tendancy to get too into character.

Wait, if we do do the RP on Aether, who would be the Ing? I like the Ing for the same reason.

Ugh... Don't make me think about those things more than necessary... But we'll see who wants what first, Space Pirates, the Luminoth, maybe... (I don't think the fauna needs or has someone directing them, n'est pas?
And if someone volunteers to do the Ing before I've to go looking for them to do it, great! I sure as hell amn't gonna do it. I'll not be able to sleep!
Failing that, I'm gonna drag someone into doing it. XD
And if that don't work, I doubt we'd be seeing the Emperor Ing, at all, and the others are fairly predictable, I'd say. Just need to make them pop up now and then.

Id like to participate in this upcoming roleplay as Apollo during his commando years (He only became an elite after the prime series of games)

I think after prime is wayyyyyy after the army i was spouse to form with kit (With I still plan on forming) died out due to (Insert Plot Device Here). But who pays attention to the fucking story line. Ill do it.

I don't even know the chronology of the Metroid games, so I don't mind. XD
Besides, temporal continuity is overrated. Especially in fanon stuff. Well, that and my character's plenty old enough to have been with the Pirates the whole time, with only minor changes, mostly physical ones. So far, anyway. Just see what happens on here. XD

Hmm... I'll have him complete the chamelo-skin suit upgrade during the Corruption story, since it ain't imperative for him to be around. Yay for on-the-fly engineering!

Its nice to have a roleplay to show what our characters are like before present day war. Apollo becomes an elite after the prime series, Talon gains his powers later on and ET360R's character only forms her army sometime later, It takes charcter development to a new level

Good thing I lucked out with a game close-ish to the start of the series, then, but I'd hoped for something like that to happen, 'cause I was leaving most of the character development until I started roleplaying, and affect him based on what happens in roleplay. Haphazard, I know, but good thing there's a few things I can downgrade slightly for this.
(I'd designed him post-Echoes, because I'd just finished it. Last year. Then I got Corruption, yay.)

Of course, I know I should have started from the bottom up, adding things every so often, but neh. I really like him still, despite not really using him. (Most people I roleplayed with thought he'd be overpowered because he was a Metroid character.)

... Then again, I can always use actions rather ambiguously, to give me leeway in roleplays chronologically before this one.

Oh, and I was thinking a mid- to endgame-Hunters time period for this roleplay? (Finally bothered to look up the official timeline. XD)

Wait wait wait wait...

If this takes place before the current day then that means that not only was my army not created but Jill Valentine as a character is still having to go through training. BUT This makes an perfect opportunity for my character Adrian Shepard to be put into play. This would take place BEFORE he defected from the federals. In the time line hes still a Marine Corporeal Sinper that was assigned to the Hazardous Environment Combat Unit (HECU). I'm defiantly in with Shepard now.

I always though that 'present day' was relative, as in, relative to when you designed your character for. Say, for Ryll, this will be recent past, since I had designed him as post-Echoes.

Does this forum have a defined present day or something?

Actually, Talon gets his powers post-prime but during hunters. The GF somehow got a phazon sample from the remains of Metroid Prime(I should add this to my character). This RP would probably take place just after he got them. Though he would probably have less ability to control them.

With all this Phazon enhancement going on, I'm starting to feel left out. XD
... But I never quite got this straightened out... Does every piece of Phazon that came from Phaaze (directly or not) disappear after Corruption? ... Would just be my luck if Ryll went for it, and, (assuning he survives), have it all disappear on him just as he got used to it. XD

... Or do you lot keep the enhancements, regardless?

He keeps the enhancements because Talon was infused with Phazon instead of corrupted. I wonder if Ing would be able to corrupt Talon when he has Phazon. Aren't they Phazon based or something? This post has the word Phazon in every sentence

He did have his genetic code tampered with by it. His body is somehow able to sustain the Phazon enough for it to not disappear after the destruction of Phaaze. Though I always wondered how Phaaze being destroyed would cause all the Phazon to disappear.

Who thinks we're near ready to start this thang? We're getting a bit off-topic here, as much as I love discussing character details. XD

Since Phazon's mutagenic, do you think it would be out of the question for it to cause the formation of an organ or some other tissue within the body that produces it? ... I know the chances would be astronomical, but I wanna know.

Also I think it could be possible for Phazon to do that.
