planet L6-R, Legacy Begins (Legacy Era)

Planet L6-R, day of the invasion. The first thing to happen was the ship touching down, it was unlike any ship the people had seen before, and they moved in to investigate. The ones who got close were the first to die when the doors opened and a flood of red insectoids burst forth, most rushing forward on their three limbs, still in the ship were those moving bipedaly, they shot at the humans near the ship with unfaltering aim, their shots red as the blood that spewed forth from the wounds inflicted upon their victims. The Krikens had arrived.

Talon laid back in his seat in the Hyperion, his feet sitting on the desk in front of him as he looked on at the crew working the ship on the bridge, playing with one of his combat knives. Suddenly one of his crew warned him of a very large ship in close proximity and right as that was said, his ship was hit by a very powerful laser, taking out half of the ship and knocking him out of the seat. Grunting, he looked to his crew members. "Damage report," he said. They informed him that most of the weapons were taken out, along with the life support. "Shit," he said, then moved toward the hangar bay, keeping in constant contact with his crew. "Ram the son of a bitch who hit us, set it on autopilot and fucking run for the escape pods, I'm going to deal with this shit," he said as he got into his recently created fighter, Killer Queen, flying out of the hangar and immediately blowing a couple Kriken fighters out of the sky.
Luckily Elaya, Arisa, and the pet Metroid were not in Hyperion at the time.

Slyix was in his ship, the Killer Oak. Little has gone on in his life for the past few years. The Federation No longer had interest in him. He has spent a long time alone in his ship. He was probably been through five or six galaxy's by now. His supplies was beginning to run low and his ships engine began to run rough from low fuel. He saw a planet in the distance. It seemed to have giant cities on it that Slyix could see from here. Hopefully the life there was friendly to visitors so he could restock on supplies. He hasn't decided when to go back towards the Galaxy were the Federation was based, "Maybe Today Maybe Tomorrow, Time will tell" Slyix always told him self.

Espera emerged from a warp jump just above L6-R in a standard issue Esperian military gunship, as yet unaware of the destruction raging across the planet below at the hands of the Kriken. As he touched down he noticed fires in the distance, and upon exiting his ship, smelled the blood soaking into the ground. Even the ground upon which he stood was littered with corpses, and this was obviously cause for worry. Or at least, for any normal person it would be. Espera found it hard to care, especially in these days when war was so common a thing, but when the thought that Rodney and Esmeralda may be in trouble occurred to him he began rushing off in their direction.

Talon, after taking out a large group of Kriken fighters, flew toward one of their frigates, firing a strafing run of rockets and nova beam shots at it, before flying toward the planet, watching his frigate smash into the other after escape pods fired in random directions, moving towards L6-R. He landed, jumping out of his ship and looking around. He was quite used to the sight of corpse-filled battlefields, but it still got to him a small bit. He noticed Espera, drawing his sword in preparation for any ground force attacks. "Any idea what the hell we're dealing with here? Haven't seen shit like this since the Tawfret incident," he said.

Slyix went down to the planets surface, the planet was red and mostly desert. Soon he came to one of the giant cities and found a place to refuel. Once leaving his ship he saw that the planet's inhabitants were Kriken and they haven't noticed he was human. Slyix had to keep his suit on as he refueled and restocked on supplies. Then some police-like officials entered the market were he was buying supplies. They looked around and started to walked towards Slyix, he tried to not be noticeable.

(you're not even playing on the same planet. You may as well just write this up as "roleplay" history explaining his condition in the legacy era. if that comes off as rude, I apologize.)
When Espera noticed Talon drawing his sword, he paused for a second, replying with "I've no idea what is happening. All I can say for sure is that these people had no chance; it was a massacre." when Talon asked what was going on. It was around that time that several Kriken rushed at them, one in the distance taking a sniping shot from atop a small building, quickly re-cloaking itself. Espera dodged the kriken's first shot, aimed at his head, and absorbed the second, hitting his arm, with his bio-shields. He quickly ran up to the leader of the small pack, decapitating the creature with a single punch, but it did little, as the head merely returned to position as if connected by invisible rubber. Espera's eyes widened a bit, as he had never encountered such creatures in the past, though he knew of the kriken, he had no idea they were so resilient. "I do not accept my attacks doing nothing." Espera informs the kriken darkly, quickly thrusting his hand into the insectoids midsection, piercing what was likely a chitinous exo-skeleton with surprising ease. He then began releasing Ragnarok into the kriken's body, which began adapting said body to be a perfect environment for it to thrive, warping the creature horrendously, engulfing it in black and red goo which quickly hardened, cracking to reveal something almost magmic underneath the surface before the creature finally sprouted two large black and red wings and catches fire. Throughout this process, the poor soul was screaming in horrendous agony, as it's body was torn apart from the inside out by the virus in its system, it's partners onlooking in horror as it transformed. When the screams died down, the changed ex-Kriken got down on one knee, as if proclaiming loyalty to the being which had just tortured it so. this was immediately followed by Espera crushing its skull with his bare hand. He looked at the next two closest kriken, who thought of running, but fearing what their superiors would do to them more, they rushed him, being struck down by the flaming sword he conjured from a silver and red cloud of nano-bots.

Talon swung his blade at a sniper shot that was aimed straight for his head, deflecting it straight into the chest of one of the nearby Kriken, the energy field surrounding the blade wording as a form of shielding. "Ah, Kriken, haven't seen you things in a while," he said before grabbing one by the face, jamming his blade into it before swinging it downward, slicing the being in half. The being collapsed before he smashed his knee into another one, cracking its exoskeleton as he gripped it by the shoulder blades, headbutted its head, and kept smashing it with his knee until it collapsed on the ground, ramming his blade through its back to kill it. "Thought these things only sent one guy at a time?" he said, remembering the time he had to take out a Kriken soldier that was going for Zebes.

"They do. For the advance group. It acts as a right of passage. Upon coming into age they are sent to find a planet to conquer, the better the planet, the more prestige the kriken gets with it's conquer. One must have scouted this planet months ago." Espera says. His eyes widen once more as he remembers why he had been rushing, and where he had been rushing to in the first place "Dammit! RODNEY! ESMERALDA!" He yells, running once again, pushing the kriken in his way, causing them to go flying as his speed booster activates, even though he was wearing no suit whatsoever. After that, any Kriken in his way found just how painful it is to be standing in front of a speed-boosting quarter-tonne mutant metroid. And, not only was he speed boosting, but his body became surrounded in phazon plasma as he ran, further increasing how deadly he was to be in front of.

Slyix was taken to the emperor,
"Emperor! We have found an intruder"
The emperor turned around, "Well.... Well... Well... Trees or Should I say Slyix,"
"I would think your one of the higher up here, and I say would because you don't seem smart enough," Sylix replied
"Are you really making fun of the one who decides if you live or die?"
"Yes, pretty much" Sylix was then elbowed by one of the guards next to him
"I have raided some Space Pirate Ships back in my day. So tell me, were you really put into solitary for hanging pictures of Samus Aran in your room WITH a general in your room,"
"Yeah, So?"
"Well your the stupid one here, if you were any ordinary space pirate they would of killed you and burned the body."
"I would say rebellious, not stupid"
"Is it allow true that you have no family,"
"They were all killed, I sat and watched my uncle die, my mother burned, my father pushed into a ravine,"
"What about offspring?"
"None, why should I have any children? I see no point,"
"No point? Now that's stupidity, there is a point for everything. No one sleeps for no reason, no one goes to war for no reason, no one dies for no reason. Besides, I'm sure the reason is your face and your pathetic brain."
"I've been with plenty of women"
"Really now,"
"Yeah, I just haven't liked any of them,"
"Is it also true that you just ran away when you could of gotten a Omega Metroid?"
"Now there is more to the story than that,"
"What? Were you afraid, thought you were too weak and went to get the Federation to help your sorry ass?"
"Hey Now!" Sylix began to struggle to get out of the guards arms.
"I don't need him, and I don't want to waste time killing him. Send him to any on going battles or place in the kriken empire who needs more soldiers. Kill him that way. If we have any spare Dark Extract enject him with it so that if he escapes from the army he'll die anyway"
"Emperor," one of the guards walked up,
"Dark Extract is still experimental and our scientists aren't finished with it. Also why would we send him off if we are gonna poison him anyway?"
"Because if he does well, maybe one of the other kingdoms in the Empire will cure him."
"Okay, your Royal Highness,"

They pushed Sylix into a small prisoner ship, "Be happy the emperor said you can keep your ship. We'll tow it behind this prisoner ship.Hope you have been in war before because we are shipping straight to a on going battle"

During the ship ride the driver began to talk to Sylix, "So, You really have no family,"
"I could," Sylix replied, "A few one night stands could of produced a kid. I don't care either way. Family is nothing. I grew up with everyone I knew sabotaging each other to get higher up. The race that raised me fought just to please a giant dragon thing."
"Family is more than you think, as a Kriken I don't care about family but I've seen other races and I began to think." The GPS beeped, "We're almost there, go ahead and get ready."

Talon's eyes widened a bit. "They're here? Shit!" he said as he followed Espera, spinning his pistols and firing them straight at any Kriken he comes across, blinking out of the firing path of several sniper rifles.

As Espera ran, the Aran's house began to come into view, and he began picking up the pace further, finally slamming through the door to find three Kriken in bipedal form standing over an eviscerated Rodney holding a plasma rifle, behind him was Esmeralda, a hole in her head from the kriken's imperialist. Espera was, to say the least, not pleased. And he grabs the nearest kriken immediately, draining it of all bio-energy in a fraction of a second. He was even less kind to the other two, piercing their bodies with his tentacles before slowly removing their limbs join by joint, following this up by skinning them with painstaking care. He wasn't letting them die until he wanted them to, and when he did, they found that nothing compares to having a small phazon tentacle rammed into the pain center of your brain and releasing mass quantities of phazon until your head explodes from being stretched too far. He simultaneously drained them of their energy through the tentacle lodged in their midsections, leaving nothing but dust and two small puddles of phazon behind. It was at that point that any sane individual would likely break down, being unable to refrain from crying, but Espera was not exactly sane; suffering from both severe Autism and ASPD, along with signs pointing to PTSD, he found it hard to feel anything, even for this. He calmly picked up Rodney and Esmeralda and carried them outside, setting them down gently on the grass as he began digging two graves for them. He buried them beside their home, planting a marker engraved with their names above each grave. After he finished, he thought he heard crying from inside the house, and moved to find the source.

Slyix was in a group of Kriken Soliders, the general yelling at them walked up and threw Slyix out of the group. "This Here is a Prisoner! He will fight for us or he will die! If you see him betraying us, I automatically give you permission to open fire opon him. He has been ejected with the experimental Dark Extract. If our brother kingdom's tests go well then they will ship us some weapons that run on the stuff. If you receive one of these weapons then everyone's life around you is in your hands, if something goes wrong with a weapon then a dark matter explosion will go off. If a Dark Weapon locks up them dispose of it as quickly as possible. And make sure to the Dark Extract out of your system or else you die after a while like this loser." He then kicked Slyix, "Take him to #356,"
Soon Slyix was in a room with a Kriken General,
"Why on earth am I in here? I didn't do anything wrong," Slyix said as the general flicked on the lights
"Your in here so that I can explain your situation. You are poisoned and I have the cure. I don't like to cure people, and on second thought I don't like other people. So to make this as short as possible, you need to be good and I may cure you, if not then you die, if you take too long the cure won't work so you die, if you get caught in the act of betrayal you die. Now get out of my office before I just kill you and say it was a accident."

Slyix followed the Kriken Army members as they were unloaded onto the planets surface. Slyix fired at the other army, though he didn't brother to aim. He just fired randomly, he may of hit a few Kriken as well. Soon he and all the other army members received a message. "Dark Weapons are coming, only the top 50 of our army will get one of the weapons. Protect the Ships at all costs, some are tankers full of Dark Extract. One Blows we predict that it will kill everyone in the area."
Everyone in the Area, Slyix thought. If he could get high up and far away from the battle field and blow up one of the tankers then he could escape with ease. A few of the other army's lives would be lost but he didn't care. But then he remembered, he was poisoned and he probably couldn't get away. But if he got the cure before blowing up a tanker then he would be set. Better yet, if he got ahold of a dark weapon then his entire plan would fall into place like dominos.

Talon followed Espera closely before waiting outside, then felt a striking pain as he felt a kriken's claw rip right through his back, causing sparks to fly out of his suit, the shielding unit being taken out by the impalement before he sliced the tip of the claw off, pulling off of the Kriken as he collapsed to the ground, blood pouring out of him. "Ah...Ah shit," he said, his suit giving off several warnings, suit breach, shield failure, and vital organ damage being the top 3. He activated his PED suit for the sake of sealing the wound quickly, as the kriken shot him in the head, taking out the helmet of his suit, the last bit of shielding absorbing the shot enough to keep it from being fatal.
"That was a nice suit, you piece of shit," he said, looking up at the kriken angrily before slicing it in half, grabbing onto the wall to hold himself up. He watched as Espera buried the two bodies, the fabrics of his skull suit slowly repairing themselves using nanomachines. "Are there any survivors?" he asked, coughing a bit.

(I'm pretty much explaining the reason for everything being replaced in this intro except Storm, that's Elaya's.)

"One. There is one survivor." Espera says, responding once he returns from the house, his head hanging down as he cradles an infant girl wrapped in blankets in his arms. "They had a child. She was the only one left alone by the kriken." He states, looking at the child.
(I really can't think of anything after this right now. Probably because I haven't been focused on RPing for the past few days.)

Talon looked to him, then at the child, then back at him. Remembering exactly what happened to his and Samus's parents. "If my family is any indication, the Kriken fucked up hard by attacking this place," he said. He'd only used the Blood Dragons as a mercenary security service before, but he planned on building them up to take on the Kriken after this. "That kid's going to grow up to fuck them up if one of us trains her."

Espera looks to Talon and back to the child and says "I've still got a debt to pay to this family, now more than ever. I'll take care of her, and I'll make sure her legend strikes fear into the ones who did this for centuries to come. They'll think twice before fucking with anyone in this galaxy once she gets out there."

Talon looked down at his ruined powersuit, the visor flashing blue for a bit before fading to black. He kicked the helmet away. "Those things broke my shit and killed a lot of people today. We've got to at least take out a sizable chunk of their men today," he said. Though he supposed the kriken did take out things he'd been wanting to phase out for a while. The technological end, not the Arans. Even after he left the Space Pirates for his own things, he had been using space pirate technology.
He had also determined he was going to only weaken the Kriken, not completely finish them off. He wanted to leave the last kill for their daughter.

"...I wholeheartedly agree." Espera says, his body growing a relatively thick blood phazite and Ragnarok plating as both protection and a weapon. his eyes are no longer visible, only two glowing lines where they would be. He extends two tentacles from his back to carry the infant whilst he needed to use his hands for killing. "Let's slaughter some bastards, shall we?" He says darkly, walking off with an obvious intent to kill.

Talon walked off along with him, watching a shuttle touching down to pick up the Kriken soldiers, their job being done. He fired off his leash beam, grabbing it and slamming it to the ground, taking out half of the squad that was trying to escape before jumping in, slicing one in half diagonally, another down the middle, and the last getting his head sliced in half. "Take out as many dropships as you can, we're not letting them escape alive."

Espera pauses for a second and says "No...I have a better idea. Ship." "Yes Grand Emperor?" a computerized voice says into his ear, "Run a scan on all biological life forms on the planet, exclude Kriken from the planetary scan and focus on how many are NOT currently on the surface." "Yes Grand Emperor." his ship replies, beginning the scan. Shortly after, the ship chimes in with "There are currently no organic life forms present on the planet aside from the Grand Emperor, ally Talon Aran, and an unidentified human with traces of chozo and metroid DNA, surrounding the planet are several Kriken war ships, but all Kriken are currently on the planet, or within it's atmosphere." Espera takes no unnecessary time in deciding his words "Ship, teleport ally Talon Aran, the infant human I am carrying, and myself aboard, then proceed to launch. once far enough removed from planet L6-R, call the Niffleheim with command 'Krieger'."

Talon blinked a bit. "You're going to...Destroy her planet? How is that a better idea?" he asked, recognizing the word Krieger. "Even me and Samus still had a planet, as fucked as it was."

"...Talon, we may seem to be nigh-unto gods, but we are still only two mortal men. No matter how hard we tried, we would never be able to kill the entire Kriken army all by ourselves. If we want them all dead, then this is the only real option, it's not like I've made some kind of ray gun that targets specific DNA structures and destroys all beings with similar enough genetics across the planet. I should probably get on that, it sounds useful. ... Besides, I've repaired planets before, I could do it again." Espera says "Never from complete atomic obliteration, but I can still try." he thinks to himself afterwards. It was about then that they would find themselves forcibly moved through space into Espera's ship, just before it blasts itself out of the planet's atmosphere.

Talon thought to himself then realized that would be a huge intimidation move toward the Kriken. If they think we'd blow up our own planets just to kill them all, they'd be more hesitant to attack, he figured. "...Alright," he said.

"While I am glad to have your approval old friend, I already gave the command. Even I can't override the Krieger command code." he says, presumably before they are teleported onto the gunship. Once the gunship had gone far enough to be out of the danger zone (having to do a small spacial jump to escape the blast range) it activated command code "Krieger", and then used a telescopic zooming function to get a clear view of the event. What would be seen is a giant space rift opening several hundred miles from the planet before a giant black object covered in blades, spikes, and black flames emerges from the rip in the space-time continuum. from the front of the hull a giant organic seeming cannon begins building itself, and then fires a massive laser at the planet, tunneling straight to it's core before setting up a circular barrier and launching an immense color shifting shell (of the cannon or mortar style) into the planet. There is a blinding flash of light, and then...nothing. The planet and pretty much everything for the next several AU's was gone, with only small pieces of scattered debris from objects too resilient to be destroyed remaining.
