Samus+Rildok+Space Pirates= Hell. (Post-Corruption)

"Oh this is just great." Samus muttered to herself as her Gunship entered an orbit around Tallon IV. "Well, I haven't been here in a while." She brought up the message of the job the Galactic Federation had so kindly assigned her.




It sounded tempting to Samus, as they usually payed her very nicely, but a partner? "That's just cramping my style." She said to herself, checking her suit as her ship remained in its orbit. What really bothered her was the fact that her "partner" was no other than Rildok. Rildok was very well known for killing his partners, but Samus was more annoyed about that then frightened.

"Really. They just HAD to get Rildok." Samus got the feeling that they wanted to see if she would survive with Rildok more than liberate the planet of Space Pirate forces. So now she just had to sit and wait for her lovely partner to arrive, so she could get this done, collect her pay, and leave.

Rildok recieved the info and was not happy with it. "Why must I be paired with her of all people/" he says and groans, almost sounding like a growl. He inputs the coordinates and comes to the planet Tallon IV. He sees Samus' ship and orbits next to it. He was in his suit already, and he sends a message to her ship saying, "I'm here, so you better be ready... for anything."

"Let's get one thing straight. You don't try and kill me, I don't blow your f**king head off." She snapped back, not in the best of moods with the situation. "I suggest we start with the Phazon Mines. Even though they're not confined there, its the heart of their operation. We take that out, the rest will be just normal cleanup." And hopefully, there will be no more Chozo ghosts. She added silently. "Shall we start?"

"I insist... after you." he replies to her message.

"Setting coordinates a safe distance from the mines so they don't notice us." Samus said, and her ship gave a hum as it headed to the surface of the planet. This day is going to suck. I can tell. How creepy can that guy get? No don't say that Samus, or he'll get worse. She thought, as she began to equip her suit. As her Gunship landed, she hopped out, carrying her helmet under her arm before putting it on. A map of the area appeared conveniently enough for Samus, but she would have to download the map from the Phazon Mines when they got there. Her suit was fully charged, missiles fully loaded, and she had her Nova Beam. Space Pirates had a thing with doors that only opened from a high-temp or high frequency shot. Just to make things complicated.

Rildok lands his ship next to hers, activates the security systems, and steps out. He walks up behind her and says, "Let's get this over with already. I don't want to have to babysit you longer than I have to."

Samus raised an eyebrow as she checked her missile barrel. "Babysit all you want. I know what I'm doing, because, unlike you, I happen to have went thought this planet on a previous mission. And who is the 'legendary' Samus Aran here?" She began to head off in the direction of the Phazon Mines, checking for any Space Pirate activity.

Rildok was silent, knowig he was starting to get to her. It was almost fun to frustrate her. He followed closly, in a way that looked a bit intimmidating.

Samus glanced behind her as Rildok followed closely. Creepy. She thought, and like she usually did with her jobs, Samus pushed her emotions back, as they could get in the way of getting it done. "Pirates incoming." Samus said aloud, as she began to charge her arm cannon and switched to X-ray mode.

Rildok sprung into action, taking off ahead of her and lunging into battle. He spots three pirates in a group. He jumps, lands next to them, and slams the ground releasing a dark energy pulse that sends them flying in different directions.

Samus began to fire on the Space Pirates that were still alive from his pulse, taking down one within seconds. She moved onto another, her charged blast tearing it into pieces. As suspicious this guy is, between the two of us, this should be a breeze. Samus thought while getting rid of the Pirates, sniping them off with her X-ray visor's handy ability. Let's just hope he doesn't try and get rid of me.

Rildok grapples one pirate and throws it up into the air only for it to fall to it's death. While that one was falling he extends his claws and tears right through few other pirates. Just as the falling pirate hits the ground, he fires one shot right past Samus' head to hit one pirate in the face.

Samus didn't even flinch as he fired past her, but merely raised an eyebrow and said nonchalantly ((Is that how you spell it?)), "You enjoyed doing that, didn't you?" She spun around again and fired a missile at a nearby pirate, tearing it into shreds.

Rildok grins, not that she could see it, and says happily (whatever that would sound like), "Yes I did. You better stay on your toes, or else I may just misscalculate one of my shots." Rildok was ripping through the pirates like butter, from removing limbs or body parts with his claws to blowing them off with either missile or dark matter shot. It was pretty bloody.

Samus got the eerie feeling he was grinning, and merely sighed at the bloodly scene he was creating. "My Powersuit is going to reek of blood after this." She commented, grappling onto a Pirate and sending him into another, before killing them both. "Let's move on, we're pretty much done here."

Rildok finished off his last pirate by stabbing his claws into the head of the pirate, and slowly tearing it apart as the pirate screams before falling silent. Then he laughs in a sadistic manner, very terrorfying to almost anyone who hears it. Then he drops the body and looks at his claws, drentched in blood. He then says, "I do very much like to see this fine liquid people call blood. It almost... invigorates me just to see more of it."

(OOC: Yes they are, because I changed them. The calander not being the same as the others was bothering me. So I took it in my hands to change it. Not to mention calander was spelt wrong too.)

"You are by far the most sadistic Bounty Hunter I have ever met." Samus commented. "Alot like Ridley..." She trailed off at that. "Anyway, let's go." She began to head to the Phazon Mines once more.

He replies with, "I take that as a compliment. And I've met that creature. He's not so bad compared to some other people." Rildok then silently follows behind her like before.

Samus decided it would be best to ignore his comment and began to walk a little faster, wanting to keep a distance between the two. "Must you follow me like that?" She asked plainly.

Rildok lets her gain a distance between them, he was still close enough to be satisfied. "Is there something wrong with that?" he replies.

(OOC: Sorry to sound pushy, but ok.)

"In fact there is. By staying that close together, we make an easier target." She replied coldly, but added silently to herself And I don't want to get skewered by one of those claws. "We should be coming up on the Phazon Mines shortly." They came to a top of a small cliff, looking down on the Phazon Mines, which were crawling with Space Pirates. Lots of Space Pirates.

Rildok walks up beside her and looks down. "Look at all that prey. This will be loads of fun." he says sadisticly.

Step 1.) Shake Rildok. Step 2.) Toss him in a room filled with something he could kill. Space Pirates for example. Step 3.) Lock the door. Step 4.) Wait for the screams and gunshot noises to stop. Samus thought, noting his sadistic nature when it came to killing things. Yes, she enjoyed killing Space Pirates, but that was because they were responsible for the deaths of everyone she found important to her. Rildok however, was a sadistic butcherer. Then again, so were many other bounty hunters. That's why they worked for the Space Pirates. They had that nature in common, that bloodlust. She remained silent, simply casting a look of disgust to Rildok though her green visor.


The Galactic Federation knows my standards, and that's why they trust me. But pairing me up with this guy? It will not turn out pleasant. She thought as she began to head down, and not wanting to hear Rildok any further, as she knew he would be enjoying his merciless slaughter, she turned on "On the Beautiful Blue Danube" to play inside her helmet.

Rildok had no intention of being pleasant while fighting the pirates. He was going to savor every moment, causing excrutiating pain before ending thier lives. Or some just kill them in one go, saves him time to jump to the next closest target. Rildok walks behind her, extending his claws. Then he charges his energy burst so it causes more damage. After it was charged he runs forward and jumps right in the middle of the pirates, slamming his fist to the ground to cause a massive dark energy wave send all nearby pirates flying. "Here comes, your doom." he says as he aims up the nearest pirate and fires.
