"Not to mention Dextromethorphan." Shasta nodded, still walking.

Samus sighed. "I don't want to know." Dune nodded. "You're right about that Samus, you don't want to."

"Dextromethorphan and Oseltamivir?" Shasta asked. "Chill. They're just components of over the counter cold and flu drugs. But since I'm a biologist I'm obligated to say it generically. "

"No, not that. The whole 'lets eat things from Bryyo' gig. I'm not an idiot you know, i know what Dextromethorphan and Oseltamivir are." She said, looking around. "Is it just me or is it getting cold?" She said, shuddering.

"I think its just you and that skin-tight outfit of yours." Dune replied.

"And Samus becomes less warm in a hidden attempt to be h-" Cliodna launched a rock into Shasta's stomach, And he recovered and said, "Trust me, I'm funny." He glared at his mechanical ally.

Hiraito just stayed behind the group, shaking his head in disgust at the events that were taking place. "Could we please just get on with it? I can only go so long without blowing something up." he says.

(OOC: Wow guys, you sure went ahead of me on this one.)

Samus glared at Shasta and began to walk off. "Come on. I ran into some Space Pirates before." Dune shrugged and followed silently.

Hiraito follows Samus silently as well, hoping that the nonsense would stop as they continued.

Akiba continued along with them, bumping into trees every so often because of his visor being.... puked upon.

"Alright, then." Shasta said, holding his stomach. "Damn... This hurts," He glanced at his watch, then at the sky. "Do you think we're anywhere near that campsite we passed?"

Samus looked back at him. "Not that i know of." She kept walking, looking for any signs of Space Pirates. She was doing her job now, even without her suit, and that was when her no-nonsense attitude came up.

Dune looked around. "Well, we will need to find a place to set up one."

"How about that abandoned campsite up ahead? That way we don't even need to set up. Or we could walk a few extra miles."

Akiba groaned as he bumped into another tree.
"Its probably a trap."
Then, he tripped over a cord as lasers shot out of the tree to his left. He was burnt slightly, but got back up.
"Samus, did that look like a space pirate's trap?"

"I don't care. Shasta need sleep." Shasta scanned the area around the base. "Well, yeah, or we could move on. This place does sort of have an ominous feel to it..."

"I'm not sure what to think of this spot. If there was a trap set here, there's bound to be more. If anything, I could make a clearing for us to set up." he says, not too impressed with what's going on.

Samus eyed the place carefully. "I agree. You can make a clearing if you want. Any camp that's already here could be a trap, like what you just ran into Akiba. I'm not sure if it's Space Pirate or not; their technology advances as they steal more." Samus began scanning the area with her visor. "And be careful. This area is littered with those things." Dune remained silent, watching the group.

"Actually, we steal more from them." Shasta padded his foot along the ground to see if there were any more traps, "But I suppose they tend to steal a lot of technology as well. I suppose it just goes in an endless web of stealing to the point where all of our technology is the same to the point where it only looks different..."

((I forgot, In Collective Shasta's leg gets torn off, but did I mention that in his character bio?... Well, if it was, it is now referring to this... Also I'm not sure if what's about to happen is realistic or not.))

His foot touched an indistinguishable patch of ground with a small mine in it, and it triggered a small mine, decimating his entire leg from the knee down.

"Dammit, man! Now I need a prosthetic leg!" Shasta began rolling along the path sideways, the burns likely third degree, as he couldn't feel any pain.

Akiba could see and hear that one. Being careful not to trip, he ran over to Shasta and helped him up against a tree.
"There isn't anything I can do now; I'm a hunter not a medic."

"The only assistance I can give is having my brother come and take you Once I make a clearing. I'll be right back unless you're inclined to come right to the clearing." he says and walks farther away from the group. He changes his cannon to arm form and charges it. "Heat sheilds up." Heat Shields at 100% He slams his fist to the ground that causes an explosion about 20 feet in diameter. The trees were burned to ash within the clearing he made, suprisingly no other trees caught ablaze after the explosion. So there was no need for fire control. "It's all clear." he reports as he switches back to cannon form.

Samus whistled. "Wow. I need to get one of those." Dune examined Shasta's leg. "I could fix it... but not with what we have here."

"Really? Technology is that epic? I thought I was screwed one way or another. Either way, by the time we get attention, that will be infected and rotting. Anybody have a saw I could use?"

Thoth nodded, and then explained, "In case you're wondering, he doesn't panic much."

"That doesn't mean I'm not pissed about it. I believe I have some surgical tools back in my ship. I'll lay around, and you bring back a saw, a cloth ca- you know what, screw it all, just bring everything."

Dune sighed. "Ah well. If you want to lop it off, go ahead."

"I couldn't help you out, I'd just make things worse..." he says, knowing that he'd burn the part that still needed to be attached and it would never end until he'd be dead.

"God, I wish there were super fast people here that can run to my ship and not get caught up in fiction about how we could possibly keep my leg." Shasta was irritated by the hesitance. "Too bad robots haven't been invented yet." He waited for a moment, then began crawling with his left leg and arms up the hill, for his life, realizing that it couldn't JUST get infected, but infected with a certain virus.

Samus shrugged. "If you want I can go get it for you. I'm much faster without my Powersuit."
