"Its a bad idea to split up. The smaller the group, the easier the target." Samus dropped all acts and stayed on the job. All emotions, unimportant thoughts, and doubts got pushed to the back of her head. This was how Samus did all her missions; logic first.

"I'm actually suggesting we ask the locals," Shasta said. "The federation doesn't know much about Twin fever, and we're here to find as much about it as possible, which means we don't know if anybody knows about it."
"But you're absolutely right. If we were to split up it may be the end of the mission,"

"If Space Pirates are stationed here, it would be best to stay together so we aren't routed out one by one. Of coarse some of us could fend off a whole betallion of 'em"

"Well of course," Shasta nodded to him and Samus, "I'm no good fighting on the ground, but I bet some of the rest of us could- and have- taken hundreds of space pirates on end," Should we start heading toward civilization?" He began loading up a map, then found the degreeage he was looking for. "As the crow flies, it will probably be 2 miles at most. Not too bad, except it may meander a little."

Samus sighed noiselessly. This would take a while "Ok then, lead the way."

"What are you so disappointed about?" Shasta laughed a bit. "It's two- maybe three- miles, and that's easy! Even more so, you're Samus Aran and I'm Nerd Scientist," He pointed to the path leading down toward the village and said, "In fact, going a mile an hour would be three hours or less. Let's go."

Samus quickly shut off her comm and she began to laugh at the "Nerd Scientist" remark. From their view, it looked like she was just slightly bending over, but she was crack up. Finally stopping her laughter, she opened the comm again, walking down the path. "Hopefully the villagers won't be contaminated."

Hiraito chuckled at the 'Nerd Scientist' remark. He replied to Samus's query with, "I'm not sure. I'm going under the impression that anything on the planet besides us are infected. That way I'm not disappointed."

"Yes, thats a good way to look at things. Any idea if there are any particularly dangerous inhabitants we have to worry about?" Samus knew to ask things like that, for safety's sake. It was always good to be prepared.

"Well, not that I know of anyway. If anything endangers the mission, we simply route it out. It should be fairly easy."

((Was that really laugh-worthy? Man, Jurassic Park brain-clog rocks! I can't wait until I read the lost World!))
"I imagine the biggest hazard would be twin fever, and I doubt too many people have it; it kills quickly." He began walking down the hill. "Not that we'll catch it or anything," He looked back, grinning.

((Samus doesn't have the best sense of humor..lol, but I found it funny. Besides, I've never seen Jurassic Park))
Samus began walking in silence, looking around for anything of intrest to scan. "Let's just hope that there are some villagers who are not dead yet. They might be able to shed some light on the subject." She was glad for her suit, even though she would be much more agile without it. It was almost like a second home to her. Her first, of course, was her ship. Which reminded her. "Computer.." she said on a comm to her ship. "Keep all sensors and scans running. Notify me of anything heading toward the ship." She closed the comm to her ship then, and contuined walking, keeping pace with the group. Occasionly she went into her Morph Ball form and rolled slightly ahead, but mostly, she stayed around the group, looking around and check for signs of foriegn movement.

((Ah... I'm a big fan of Jurassic park and some of Crichton's other books, like Next.))
"Man, I wish I had wheels... or a spherical form..." Shasta had some sort of pendulum twirling around his finger, unidentifiable because of how fast he was moving it. "Really anything that would let you roll everywhere," He chuckled to Hiraito.

He recalled a conversation he had previously, "I had a nervous habit when I was a kid, and I spent less time frying my ears with my earbuds, and more time twirling them around my finger, which is why I made these," He had said, holding up two metal balls on two strings tied together, "And I haven't broken it since,"

Childhood. Samus thought to herself when hearing his comment, and reverted back into her normal form, walking slightly ahead of the group. It was fairly enjoyable, but mostly hard. When Grandpa Bird had taken her from the wreckage of the colony, it was about a month or two before she would even cry, much less speak. Then the Chozo DNA was implanted, then the training began. Now that I think of it, there was never really a time when i wasn't ready for a fight. Even when I was a child.

"I don't need any special form to get around. I think creating such a form would be hard to do and ecceptionally dangerous on testing it. But I'm fine with walking." he went silent for a minute before saying, "So, what kinds of weapon systems do you all have?" He kinda wondered what the others had for weapon systems.

"Well... I have an arm cannon... complete with PED2... and... uhh... I know how to light stuff on fire..."
"But what if you put wheels on your ass?" Thoth asked, Shasta taking him seriously,
"What?"
"Wheels. On your rump."
"Nope. Still hazardous."
"How?"
"I don't know. You'd be much less stable than if you were to have four wheels... or something... Right?"

"Nova Beam, Ice Missile which both come form my arm cannon, Morph Bomb used in my Morph Ball form, Grapple Voltage which comes out of the glowing sphere on my left hand," She went over them mentally, and added one more. "And my Screw Attack, which i can use in my normal powersuit form." They were basic, but deadly. She also had her Boost Ball, Spider Ball, Grapple Swing, and Grapple Lasso, but they were not as much weapons as a mean of getting past difficult places. And of course she was currently using her Varia and Gravity suit together.

"Showoff," he said, reaching what seemed to be the end of the path. He kicked aside a light log blocking the way and climbed up the path, peeking into the small village of Tabulans. "I think this may be it,"

Samus nodded. "Yes, I think this is the place. Shall we head in?" Her tone had lightened; if any Tabulans were still alive, it was important not to loose her temper. "Remember guys, if we can gain their trust and get any information from those left living if there are any, they might want us to do a few things first." She began to walk into the village.

Hiraito follows them in, trying not to look too intimidating. Though, that's what his armor was supposed to do, besides the usual functions. He wasn't completely amazed at what their reply to hisquestion was, just sounded like a bunch of things he'd rather not use. He had his own fun with his 'toys'.

((Are we going to find anyone alive?))
Samus looked around, realizing that if there were any suriviors, they were probably frightened of them and were hiding. Or they could be all dead. "Is the air safe?" She finally asked.

"With the virus floating around, I'm not too sure. I'm not about to let unfiltered air reach my lungs any time soon." her says as he also looks around for any signs of life.

(OOC: I'm not sure. I found a thing online saying that the only living things on the planet besides the virus were cells. Though that resource I believe was unofficial.)

((It's possible they're still alive. If there wasn't anything else living here, I don't know how a virus would reproduce.))

He cautiously peeked through the bushes, then replied. "The air should probably be clean in these parts..." He rushed up a slight curve, then sighed at what looked like remnants of where somebody had set up some sort of camp. "What the heck is this?" Thoth, slightly annoyed, looked at the remains.

((Yea, how about we have a small handful of survivors))
Samus sighed and scanned the air. Nothing dangerous or unkown was found. "The air here is mostly oxygen and nitrogen. There's no virus here, the air is safe." She said, and took off her helmet, her long blonde hair tumbling down to her waist. "Feels good not to be breathing filtering or recycled air all the time." She looked around the small camp. "Doesn't look to be Space Pirate."
