Armor Upgrading (Post Fusion)

Akiba, in his small gunship, decided to pull into Daiban for some upgrading. Upon arrival, he was asked by a fat clerk kinda-guy What his buisness was. Akiba replied
"Nothing much, just coming in to check up on my armor, make a few upgrades."
"Alright, just pull into an open dock then."
Akiba lands into a dock right next to dock labeled HIRAITO.
"I wonder why THAT one has walls thicker than an Olympus."
Akiba steps out and puts his armor into a pod-looking thing. An AI says some things which appear on Akiba's screen:
Armor Integrity: 10%
Armor Weapon Systems: Outdated by 10 years
Armor Shielding: Low
Armor Comm System: Up-To-Date
Visor Systems: Outdated by 5 years.
Akiba suddenly dies a little inside. His armor sucks. The pale silver armor he's worn through the worst could've killed him. Well, that's why hes here. He takes it out. He starts with the weapons computer. He was always a great coder; In a few hours he had working Super Missiles, as well as a weak variant of a weapon Samus calls the 'Plasma Beam.' A little more confident, he moves to make some more. He calls on his friend Hiraito.
"Hey, I'm working on coding weapons, but I know this one will surely blow out my battery. Can I get a hand with the actual engineering? There's 100 credits in it for ya."
He sits down and waits.

Hiraito had just finished upgrading the ships cannons the way he wanted them. He was eager to test them out, but he receives a transmission. He listens to it and replies, "Alright, I'll be right over." He grabs some of his upgrading equipment and puts them on the skiff and heads to the other dock. The skiff pulls in and he says, "Hey, I hear you need some help."

"Yeah. See, this weapon here" - he hold out the chip with the proper code - "Is surely compatible with my arm cannon. However, I'm not skilled at engineering, and even I know that an old hunk of steel like my cannon would surely explode if it tried to fire this gun. Basically, I need to upgrade the firing mechanism of my cannon. And I'm not experienced at it. Knowing the best, I figured I'd call him to help."
Akiba smiles, then frowns as he looks at the suit itself and it is completely rusted.
"I cannot believe I wore this POS. Well, that's why I'm here."

Hiraito laughs and says, "Alright, let me see what we've got here." as he holds out his hand to receive the arm cannon.

"Here it is. My right forearm. ha. Might as well be; I've spent more time in it than out."
Akiba hands him the gun, while he turns to his own specialities: Armor and Visors.

Akiba grabs a special tool to take off the main chest plate of the armor. The shield device, normally glowing green, is a faint, faint blue. Still, as it is radioactive, he uses tongs to pull it out. He sets it down on his workbench, and pulls out a little device of his own devise called simply The Charger Pak. It absorbs radioactivity, and by the push of a button, expels it. Akiba pushes a button and the battery glows green again. He replaces it, then closes the armor. Using a kind of cosmic high-strength plaster, he molds a plate the same size as the lower torso piece. The advantage of this expensive material is strength and flexibility. He tries it on.
"Does this make me look fat?"

Hiraito takes the cannon and takes a look at it from all angles. He then gets on the skiff and lays the cannon on his desk. As he starts to dismantle it, he looks up to reply, "Oh, not at all." before returning to dismantling the cannon. After he was done, he starts take some of his tolls and starts working on the cannon, removing old parts and replacing them with newer parts along with a few other things. He starts to rebuild the cannon with new parts and all until it was done. He then turns to Akiba and says, "Alright, it's done. It should be able to handle any type of beam weapon. I added a new core that can replicate almost any beam. You would just need the coding and software for them and there you go."

"Alright, Thanks man! Here's your pay, as said."
He throws an 100 on the table. He goes back to his own devices. He repeats the process of molding with each armor piece, then drills in areas for the shield conductors in the chest. He lines the inside with a thin but strong non-conductor similar to lead, so he doesn't get irradiated from the armor's shield source. He places the Charger Pak inside next to the power supply, so any outside radiation is filtered into the power source. Finally, he seals the armor. However, this material is a simple gray. :grey: He paints it into a black finish, complete with orange visor. :(phazon): Next, he takes out the visor chip in the helmet, and replaces it with an up-to-date one he stole from a bounty he recently hunt. He puts the chip in, and the visor glows with a red LED in the rim of it. He puts the whole suit on, then fires the cannon into the sky. He was dissappointed when he fired. But then he actually put in the chip for the plasma beam and super missile, and they both work splendidly. Proud, he puts it back in the pod.

He gets into his ship and flies to the payment area.
Fat-clerky dude: "3000 credits."
Akiba, now rich from missions, hands him the proper amount. As if to tell him what he needs to do next, the auxilary engine kicks on as the left engine of his ship falls to the ground. Akiba flies away, angry.
