Death from below (post "Death of oblivion" RP)

((misinformation, it starts on the fourth and my grandfather thought monday, today by now, was the fourth.))
"Well then try to not kill him, but just put him in a whole world of hurt, okay honey?" Arisa says. Samus is chasing after Hailer still, and still is catching up with him. he's scared at this point. "Oh shit... I have got to start trying to make better mazes, this one flopped hard." Hailer said, being scared shitless making him act a bit differently than usual.

"So beat him and torture him until he's almost dead? Sounds fun!" Talon said, sounding a bit too excited to do that. He kept running on the walls as he followed Arisa, not using his speed booster so that he wouldn't run past her.

"Sometimes I worry about you honey, you seem to enjoy that kind of thing a bit too much." Arisa says, still moving as quickly as possible at Hailer, though they were only holding the distance at the rate they were going.

Talon kept running, still trying to catch up with him, figuring Samus might already be close to their target. He started running on the ceiling, still messing around with that ability.

it was about then that Samus finally caught up with Hailer for real, and froze his legs in place with an ice missile. "You and me are going to have some words." She said, quite angry.

Arisa and Talon began closing in on Hailer shortly after he got trapped by Samus, in only a minute, if they moved fast enough, they would catch up with Samus and Hailer and be able to continue with their mission. the closer that they got to Hailer and Samus' position, the easier it was for Arisa to tell that he had not moved in a while. "Come on, he's staying in one place." she said to Talon.

Talon grinned as Arisa said that. "This is going to be fun!" he said as he moved more quickly, moving toward the position and making it there. "I wondered why he wasn't moving," he said as he saw his legs were frozen.

"Oh shit." Hailer said, seeing all the energy weapons and fearing for his life. "Oh this can NOT be good." he concluded. "You've got that right. hey Talon." Samus says, preparing to begin the gutting.

"Could I join in too? I want to torture the fuck out of this guy," Talon asked/said with a grin, pulling out his knife and playing with it a little, setting it to not vibrate since he figured out it was somehow less painful to be cut by it when it was vibrating.

"Honey, he's a Dengoroth, like me. We're immune to matter based weapons, remember?" Arisa says, not caring to much that the scum in the pond, so to speak, was being mucked out, also so to speak. Hailer blasted the ice with an electrical infused concentrated ball of heat and jumped out, making a large hole in the ceiling, and just before going up through it to the surface he said "Traitor." and left, using his scythes as ice picks.

"Oh yeah," Talon said, forgetting that. "Oh for fucks sake," Talon said in response to Hailer escaping. He jumped through the hole too, immediately chasing after him after putting the knife back in the sheath, firing his pistols at him.

Samus was close behind Talon, quite wanting in the "Kill this son of a bitch" category, she too was firing shots rapidly at her target. she was making a noise that could only be described as roaring. she was fucking pissed. Arisa had made an incredibly powerful chain with a hook like barb on the end to use as a grappling hook and thrown it up onto the edge of the hole in the caverns ceiling. at that point she began climbing.

Talon kept firing shots of nova beams at the target, just wanting to kill him already as he ran faster, activating his speed booster to catch up.

Hailer sent an electromagnetic pulse blast backward from himself, which would not only scramble his opponents visors, but magnetize their bodies with horrible efficiency. "Try getting out of this one!" he screams, then makes a crap-load of metal objects, enough to surround and encase all of his pursuers in the metal. the electromagnetic charge would last until dismissed as well, so removing their armor would not help at all.

Talon tried to avoid the pulse, unsuccessfully. The objects all flew toward him, which he tried to hold back with telekinesis. The strain of this was making him move more slowly. That plus the fact that he was attempting holding them away from Arisa and Samus too. "Fucking piece of shit, what part do you want when we catch him? I want to slowly rip his arms, legs, and whatever genitalia he has off," he said.

the metallic objects passed around Talon, ignoring the source of force to instead go for the easiest targets. as soon as one hit Arisa in the head, knocking her out, Samus started shooting the metal objects out of the "sky" while really and truly roaring. Hailer in the mean time was getting farther and farther away... until he encountered a very large gorge in the terrain. "Damnit, now I have to either go back or go around it, and who knows how long that could take?" Hailer says, and at that moment Samus had finished destroying the metal objects. and she started running real fast at him. he was able to see her in a minute and thirteen seconds, and he then decided. "Around it is then." he said, and then began running along the gorge's edge.

Talon picked up Arisa, following them quickly as he shot the metal objects that came after him, tired of holding them all away from him as he kept running, not seeming to lose any speed from carrying his wife.

Hailer did not waste a single second in his travel. he used electromagnetic barriers with explosive force to send himself flying, he blasted ice with high levels of heat and then refroze the places to extreme levels of traction absence, causing anything on it to slip horribly, in short, he did everything in his power to make his movement as quick as possible and Talon and Samus' as slow as possible.

Talon held on to Arisa as he suddenly jumped, shinesparking in the direction Hailer was moving.
(Did Talon get a grapple beam? I can't remember.)

((if he did you never changed his registration to show it. I'm fairly certain that Espera would have thought of that though. you didn't add two beams...any of the beams Espera gave him. not even the annihilator beam, he liked that you said.)) the shinespark would send Talon about ninety feet in three seconds, so was a good move.

Talon held out his sword with one hand, his wrist mounted grapple beam ready for him to turn if he has to, prepared to swing at Hailer when he got closer.

Hailer did something dangerous for his kind, but at this point, it seemed necessary for survival. he left his shell, taking only the energy signature of his clothing and scythe. he began moving much faster, closing in on the speed of energy, but had to stop before his energy dispersed into nothingness. he was three miles away from Talon and Samus, but he had to keep moving and was unable due to having used all of his available energy for movement. he had no energy left but that of his body, and would need to rest before he could move again.

"Wait what the hell? You guys can do that?" Talon asked, forgetting Arisa was unconscious as he kept chasing after the energy signature, using the grapple beam to steer.

Arisa yawns and says "Us guys can do what?", not having seen Hailer dispose of his body in favor of speed. "Damnit! did you see that? how are we supposed to keep up?!" Samus shouts. "Keep up with what?" Arisa asks, severely confused.

"He dropped his body," Talon said, still trying to follow him. "I'm tempted to just play with his body, maybe set it on fire a little," he said with a grin.

"It's not like it'll hurt him you know... he dropped his body? shit, he's probably moving at the speed of energy by now, we'll...wait, he's not moving at all. he must not have had much energy left, he's not that far from here in total terms. come on, he's north northwest." Arisa says, then hops out of Talon's arms and begins running north-northwest.

Hailer was still resting, he would need time before he could move again, and a body, and that would take even longer.
