Back in time (part one, takes place over the course of all games after the first one (prime to fusion)

"You are sick." Bob says. "Dude, when a pyro calls you sick for talking about burning things you know you're doing wrong." Espera says. "My Samus senses are tingling." Espera thinks. "I think we should go get some quick-but-difficult mission done to earn that reputation now, what about you guys?" Espera states.

"Awesome," Talon said as he put the napalm bomb away, getting ready to go on the mission. Just for the hell of it, he threw an incendiary grenade at one of the marines(Without activating it of course, and he would change the direction of the grenade midair to make sure the switch doesn't get pressed) to see if he would catch it.

"MINE!" Bob shouts, and jumps to intercept the grenade. Bob then catches said grenade without pressing the button/switch. "Oh this will go GREAT with my collection!" Bob says. "I'm sure it will Bob." Espera says. His eyes then widen as he realizes that none of them actually have a ship in this time period, so they couldn't get anywhere in the first place. "Um...I'll be back in a little while." Espera says. He then runs off using the speed booster to move extremely quickly and get to the marine place (I have no idea what the HELL it would be called). He basically goes up to officials to request a temporary ship capable of transporting five comfortably. He manages to get one through subtle threats and bribery. Go figure.

Talon thought that he could probably steal his ship from himself, but figured that would fuck something up time-wise. So he just decided to wait for a ship. He pulled out his lighter and started playing with it a little.

Espera returned shortly after Talon lit his lighter the first (of possible many) time. "Okay, problem solved. Let's go." Espera says.

"Alright! Let's burn some shit!" Talon said with a grin as he got ready to follow Espera to the ship.

"We just did." Bob says. *GROAN* go the other three. "That pun actually caused me physical PAIN!!" Espera yells. "GOD! I think you may have broken my arm!" he states. He is joking, but that pun did hurt him horrendously.

"Well let's go already," Talon said as he got ready to follow Espera to the ship, having no idea where it is or what it looks like.

"Well, behold." Espera says, then uses his command visor to remotely pilot the ship to their location. It wasn't very flashy, or even pretty. But the damn thing was big enough for the five of them, and was LOADED with guns. Not all of them on the outside. Plus the armoring was to the extreme, this ship had seen it's fair share of battles, but it was still in good condition. "You ready for this?" Espera asks. "I am." Emelia responds, "Same here." guy says. "Ditto." Bob replies.

Talon was staring at his lighter for a second. "Oh, ready," Talon said as he moved toward the ship, getting into it. "I wanna be the gunner," he said. "I'm not a very good pilot unless it's a small fighter."

"That's okay. It doesn't look it, but this ship is pretty high tech. It's got a very sophisticated AI with the on-board computer. It can pilot us where we need to go." Espera tells Talon. He then turns to his trainees and holds out his two main pistols as well as another two (one main and one secondary per trainee) and says "These will serve you well. Emelia, you are our sniper, your pistols can combine into a rifle with high long range capabilities on par with a sniper rifle. Guy, you're our heavy weapons specialist, your pistols can combine into a cannon, it has a low recharge rate, but it's charge limit is nearly nonexistent (nearly no limit to how far it can charge). The shot can charge almost limitlessly, and the explosion can get freakin' HUGE!" Espera tells them. He then turns to Bob and hands Bob fifteen napalm bombs and says "You're our demolitions expert- and resident pyro- these are heavily enhanced, having crystallized fuel-gel inside of the cases to enhance the explosion and a bit of phazon for good measure. Use them only in dire circumstances." He then walks to the computer and inputs the coordinates of the planet their mission occurs on.
(mind if we skip to after they finish? I never really thought through any side missions, it was just a story thing to make things make more sense.)

Talon sat down at a seat in the ship, looking out one of the windows out of boredom, playing with his lighter still and hoping that it doesn't have an automatic sprinkler system.

(wait, did you already skip or was that just lead in to the mission we're not going through?)

The ship most definitely didn't have a sprinkler system. It didn't need one. Not enough flammable things inside. "I suggest you don't play with that too much. Our suits may be able to survive without atmosphere at all (he's assuming on Talon's), but they aren't quite as lucky. They need things that can easily be converted to oxygen for their suits to work in that way, and I haven't gotten around to fixing that problem yet." Espera says.

"Fuck," Talon said as he closed his lighter, putting it in a suit compartment specifically made to store it. Well it wasn't really, but it was just a small compartment. And so he waited until the next stop for the mission.

"Wow, that was certainly a glorious mission, I would feel sad for anyone who missed out on the hilarious antics and badass badassery involved in completing it." Espera said, just to be a dick. (Eeevery now and then he likes to break the fourth wall. just in case there are any deities watching, and when we skip, those deities wouldn't get to see. therefore he can milk it for total dick points) "As would I, but what does that have to do with anything?" Emelia agrees and asks. "Hey, remember when Bob blew the everloving HELL out of that blast gate?" Guy asks "Hell yeah! That was AWESOME! I mean SERIOUSLY! And that blasted twenty whole enemies out of their minds and a few miles away!" Emelia agrees.

"Fuck yeah," Talon said, playing with his lighter again for a little bit because he knows the ship got some oxygen back.

(god, I feel like such a dick, and I'm LOVING IT!)
"Oh man, who could have guessed a simple seek and destroy mission could be so glorious?!" Espera says while laughing his ass off. "Onward to Daiban my friends!" he says.

"Alright...I'll sleep on the way there, that was a fun mission," Talon said as he fell asleep on his chair.

"Hell yeah." Espera says calmly. He plays an upbeat song in his head on the ride back.

And so Talon slept until the next part of the mission.

"Hey Talon, we're back at Daiban. You wanna wake up?" Espera points out and asks.
