Back in time (part one, takes place over the course of all games after the first one (prime to fusion)

"I...see. Well, that certainly does explain it." Espera says, referring to why Talon doesn't understand periods. "Hey, you three okay back there?" He asks, turning his head to look at the recruits. In doing so he takes his attention off where he's walking and walks straight into another beam. "DAMNIT!" He yells, though the sound and understandablility were muffled from his face being planted firmly on the beam. The three marines have a laughing fit when that happens, showing that they are most definitely not in pain or anything.

Talon laughed as he saw Espera walk into yet another beam, playing with his lighter again as he kept moving toward the ship, helping Espera off the beam if necessary.

"Ow." Espera says as he peels himself off yet another beam. "What's that, the fourth time in the past two or three days? What the hell!" Espera says. This causes the recruits to break into another fit of laughter.

Talon kept laughing right after he said that, still playing with his lighter while he laughed.

"Oh that's it. I'm going to go get something to eat." Espera says and walks off.
(little fun fact about Espera, cause I don't think I've ever mentioned it before, he cannot eat matter based food without getting food poisoning/indigestion. he can't even drink liquids.)
"What's his problem?" Emelia asks. "He was probably just hungry." Guy replies. "Plus he did just walk into that beam." Guy says, and they start laughing again.

"I dunno," Talon said as he played with his lighter still, playing with an incendiary grenade at the same time. "We should probably get to the ship and wait for him," he said, not knowing that fact about Espera.

"Yeah." Bob agrees.
*later that day* Espera walks back to the ship, full to the top with energy. The reason he was going to the ship was that it was the only place he could do his work in relative peace given all the people everywhere else, and the flammability of his apartment. He had more incendiary grenades and nap bombs as well, and intended to make them as good as possible for the Tallon IV mission they would be going on in a few days. He also had a few standard issue federation stun pistols and plasma rifles which he intended to modify. The former to be like his main pistols, the latter to be much more powerful (two of each, one of each for Emelia and Guy). He would also be taking his main pistols back, because those were better for him. This shopping was also taxing his account heavily, but after the Tallon IV mission, he would probably be okay again.

And Talon continued to walk back to the ship, getting in it and sitting down in his usual seat, throwing his lighter in the air and catching it over and over again.

"What do you think we should do till Espera gets back?" Emelia asks.

"I dunno," Talon said with a shrug, still playing with his lighter.
(Not really)

"Poker?" Bob and Guy both suggest at the same time.

"Okay," Talon said and proceeded to play with them.

When Espera walks in at the very least the three recruits would still be playing, if not all of them. "Hey, how's it going?" he asks. "Not too bad." Bob replies, intent on the cards. The odd thing is that none of the recruits had yet to take off their armor around Talon or Espera. Including now while they were doing nothing but playing poker.

Talon just shrugged and continued playing, not really knowing how to play this but he was playing anyway.

"Okay then." Espera says, and goes to his cabin, which had been outfitted with the things he actually needed for modifying weapons and armor. He then began to work on each piece of weaponry that he had gotten.

Talon continued playing with them, not really sure what he was doing.

((after this post it's dinner time, so I'll be gone for a while))
"Talon, I just caught a distress signal on the ships on-board computer, it's coordinates are the same as the frigate. I think it's time to go help Samus out." Espera tells Talon.

"Well alright," Talon said as he got up, putting his lighter away. "Should we go now?" Talon asked.

"Yeah, that or go and see if Samus' ship is anywhere nearby." Espera says. "It's honestly a good thing I finished with those pistols and rifles." he adds.

"So I should go try to find her?" Talon asked, making sure he wasn't about to do something stupid and get left behind.

"Would you prefer that or just going to the frigate?" Espera asks.
