Outbreak on Treceran

Talon definitely felt a similar blood rush. Briefly thinking about modifying her power suit to be like that, but considering it's meant to protect her against elements and radiation rather than just blades and bullets that'd probably be a bad move.

"Let's fuck some shit up," she said, pulling her shotgun and getting ready for a fight.

Rose began looking around the central platform they were standing on, trying to find how to reach the door that would inevitably be somewhere just across from it when she realizes that there is no such barrier. However, (supposedly) in its place were dozens of tunnels, with no way to tell which on led to the core. "Shit, I've got no way to identify where we have to go to get to our target." she mutters under her breath, her breasts bouncing obscenely (and somewhat rather ridiculously) with every breath.

(I'm making jokes at the standard RPG female armor design, could you tell? also every game with jiggle physics.)

Talon was a bit distracted by that, staring for a few minutes before shaking her head. "Could probably just wander around until we find it, we got time right?" she asked, pumping her shotgun.

(I could tell. It also sounds like something I'd probably put Talon in just because she doesn't care if she gets hit because she can heal. And because it kinda fits her character.)

"I'm not too certain. But I suppose." Rose replies. She then looks around her, closes her eyes, and starts spinning in place with her arm outstretched, index finger extended while the others were curled into a tight ball. When she stops, she opens her eyes, looks at the closest tunnel to where she was pointing, and says with an air of uncertainty "That way?"

(Alright man, it is way too late at night for me right now with my current sleep schedule. I'm going to bed, talk to you tomorrow hopefully.)

Talon nodded. "Alright let's go," she said. She had no idea where she was going, so she'd just follow Rose wherever she led her.

(Okay. Night myan.)

Rose jumps across several floating platforms over to the path she "chose", beginning to walk through the tunnel at a brisk pace, trying not to stay inside of a Leviathan near the source of phazon radiation for too long for fear of having severe mutations to her genetic library (though the risk was still rather low). Rose, and by extension Talon, would end up walking down through the tunnel for nearly forty two minutes before being looped back around to the central hub room they had already been in. "DAMMIT!" Rose exclaims, unable to hold in her frustration. She then jumps back to the center platform, repeating the spinning choice process, and jumping to the "chosen" tunnel and proceeding through it. The tunnel was labyrinthine in size and design, and the maze like architecture keeps them in its confines for hours before Rose is able to lead them back out. Once more arriving at the central hub.
(Just saying what the second path looks like, if you have anything you want them to talk about, just mention it as happening in either path, and we can roll from there with it)

Talon follows through the path, her shotgun ready to shoot any random Ing that popped up. They had to be protecting their leviathan, they couldn't just be leaving this thing defenseless. She asked Rose about what she planned on doing when all this was over.

"Well, go off planet and get some sweet sweet lovin' from you, but that's about as far as I've planned. Oh, and you may as well put the gun away. This leviathan hasn't been here long enough to gain a guardian, and the only defense they set up is right at the core. AH, DAMMIT! WHY CAN'T I FIND MY WAY OUT OF HERE!!" Rose answers Talon, yelling in frustration at the end. When they once again reach the central hub area, Rose decides not too do the spinning choice again, simply looking around and picking a pathway at random. Jumping to and then running through one tunnel after another, Rose (and by extension Talon again) exhaust another four potential choices out of the total thirty tunnels they could travel down. And once again, none of the damn near labyrinthine tunnel systems actually lead where they needed to go. "YOU KNOW WHAT?! I'M JUST GOING TO GO THROUGH EACH ONE TILL WE GET WHERE WE'RE GOING DAMMIT!" Rose shouts to the heavens, tired of all the walking and running and maze filled caves in this damn Leviathan. Luckily, it only takes one more failure (another full labyrinth though) before they finally take the correct pathway, traveling down a short twisting tunnel and arriving at the core room of the Leviathan, the seed directly above their heads, and nothing occupying the central area. Rose preemptively puts out a hand to stop Talon, just in case she was about to go down. "Um...Just remembering something, it may not be the best of ideas to go down there after all. A Leviathan will corrupt the first thing it finds to act as its guardian, and while I don't know how susceptible either of us are to phazon, it still wouldn't be a good idea to go down. We should probably just shoot at the big dome thing holding the seed from here until it comes out for us to kill it."

"Could just go back and grab a zombie, cut its limbs off, and give this thing the most useless guardian ever," Talon suggested, grabbing her shotgun and aiming it at the dome, firing one shot straight at it, pumping the shotgun and firing another one.

As Rose and Talon fire at the dome containing the Leviathan seed, Rose responds to Talon's inquiry with "No, I think they can regenerate damage to their guardian. And I think they choose a guardian actually, now that I'm thinking about it a bit more." as she continues to lay into the dome thing with the Federation Marine assault rifle, getting dangerously close to exhausting its ammo supply, the counter located on the back reading "52/700" "Jesus, where did all the ammo go?" Rose mumbles under her breath, looking down at the ammo counter. *ROOOAAAARR!!* An earthshattering howl/roar/scream echoes through the Leviathan core, an enormous green and blue cybernetics covered two clawed arm reaching up from inside the Leviathan, under the center fleshy plating. "What the fuck is that?" Rose asks, eyes widening, as a million possibilities flash through her mind, none of them boding well for the pair.

Talon stored the shotgun away, looking at the thing climbing out of the core. "I don't know what it is...But I'm gonna punch it," she said, swinging her fist at the arm as hard as she could.

Rose's eyes widen in horror as the camera zooms in on her face to emphasize her shock, and she calls out a terrified "NO!!", right arm outstretched to Talon, just as the enormous arm swings around in an arc, trying to grab Talon in its huge clawed grip. The arm was twice as thick across as Talon was tall, and each clawed finger was just about the same size as Talon. Regardless of whether Talon manages to dodge the arm or not, a pair to the arm rises from the ground some fifty feet away as what looks to be some strange green dome with a red orb implanted in it rises between them. As the creature continues to rise from the ground (somehow, seeming to defy all logic in its methodology, passing through the fleshy ground of the Leviathan as though it were nothing but... thin styrofoam, or a light cloud, with strange semi-spheres of the Leviathan's substance shooting out around the creature), its form comes in to focus. It seems to be some form of saurian entity, with a huge domed head, red eyes, and a green carapace covering the whole body except the stomach. Looking at it, it was almost horrifying, especially with the early stages of phazon corruption evident.

Talon jumped up and kicked at the arm that swung at her to send herself backward, doing a flip in midair and landing on the ground behind her, pulling her shotgun back out and pumping it again to ready the next shell. "Oh hell yes, something BIG to kill," she said.

Rose cocks her head to the side, her eyes closing as she breaths a sigh of relief. "Oh thank the goddesses, it already has a guardian." She then looks the creature up and down, gauging its form and combat effectiveness. "It looks like a close relative of the Kraids...TALON! AIM FOR THE THIRD EYE! AND THEN THE MOUTH!" Rose shouts down, retrieving the penis laser cannon from her pocket (dimension).

Talon jumped up into the air and fired a shotgun blast at its face, hitting all three eyes at once and tossing a grenade into his mouth, firing a rocket in along side it before jumping back down.

The Kraidilian rears up, screaming monstrously in pain as the sensitive flesh in its mouth and throat is assaulted by explosions from the grenade and rockets fired into its maw. By this time, Rose has attached the penis cannon to her right arm once more, readying it and aiming at the Kraid like entity's mouth, charging up a shot, shouting out "Talon! HIT THE EYE AGAIN! I'M GOING TO SHOOT!" as she steadies her aim, preparing herself for the kickback.

Talon pulled the plasma minigun out and fired it at the beast's eye, firing as many shots as she could with the hope that at least some hit the eyes with how much spread it had.

The Super-Kraid (As Rose dubbed it) roars once more in pain, its mouth opening for that brief moment, Rose taking careful aim before releasing an incredibly large cylinder of iridescent light from the tip of the penis-cannon, a look on her face something like a cross between ecstasy and agony, as her life force is drained and fed through the phallic object, her energy being weaponized and blasted out with extreme force. She manages to have the beam fire straight, hitting home in the Super-Kraid's mouth and damaging it, but not killing it. When the beam has finished firing, Rose drops to her knees, being unable to support herself any longer. She looks weakly at Talon, just before her eyes close and she falls over, tumbling off the ledge and landing on her stomach, laying prone and defenseless, seemingly unconscious.

Talon saw this and decided to finish the fight quickly. She leaped up to the super-kraid, punching it in the third eye and charging the plasma cannon. When he opened his mouth, she'd unload both the plasma cannon and the rocket launcher straight into his mouth, firing repeated rockets until she ran out of missile ammo.

Around halfway through Talon's missile barrage, the Super-Kraid closes its mouth once more, swiping at her with extreme force, enough to send her flying backwards into the far wall and leave a large crater (should it hit). It then opens its mouth widely, breathing in deeply, before letting out a roar that could break Talon's eardrums even through the suit if she didn't defend herself. And then the real hard hitter comes, as the Super-Kraid opens its mouth even wider, once more breathing in, just before it opens its mouth to ten times wider than Talon is tall (it could fit ten Talons standing on each other's heads), firing a beam of pure phazon energy from its maw at Talon and the seemingly unconscious Rose.

The armor locked up on impact to shield Talon, though she was still sent flying into the wall. Talon's eardrums did actually take damage from the scream, though her healing factor was working on that. Until then all she could hear was an annoying ringing noise. Seeing it open its mouth and expecting an attack, she turned the rocket launcher backwards and fired(She stopped her barrage after it closed its mouth), propelling her off of the wall and leaping toward Rose, picking her up and moving her out of the way of the attack.

As the phazon breath attack blasts into the wall, tearing through the fleshy rocky substance, Talon would be left relatively unharmed as she picks up and escapes from the majority of the attack's radius. One of her arms, however, would end up being exposed to the powerful blast of phazon radiation and raw energy, ripping through her shields and damaging the armor's external structure, as well as partially overloading the armor's energy collectors. Meanwhile, Rose has been left completely unable to move from energy-drain, so weak that she cannot even speak or move her eyes. Seeing her life flash before her eyes, her body begins acting on instinct, beginning to divide asexually, producing an exact clone/replica of her (sans human consciousness and conscience/AKA Soul), albeit rather slowly.

Talon felt her left arm get burned horribly as well, screaming out in pain. Her arm was unusable until it healed, which meant shotguns were out of the question for now. She saw numerous warning signs over her visor, though the protection of the armor at least saved her from corruption. Only the heat of the blast damaged her underneath.
Something happened to the suit because of the sudden exposure, the plating turning black and the visor glowing orange. It seemed she managed to get a Phazon suit out of this sudden wave of radiation, increasing her protection against the Phazon while also making her able to absorb Phazon to use for her plasma laser. But she had to go on the defensive, at least while her arm was healing and Rose was effectively unconscious.

(I based that last part off of how Samus got her Phazon suit(by just having Omega Pirate fall on her), figured it was sort of a similar scenario)

The armor on her left arm was burned by the attack, turning a black color. She picked up Rose and decided to move while her arm regenerated, firing rockets toward their enemy.

((Oh not in the slightest. Samus was exposed to purified concentrated liquid phazon directly, merging with her suit, this thing just fired a large beam of phazon radiation, not at all the same. Still, given how I described it, I suppose it deserves at least a coin flip. I'll do that later and tell you the result via PM, right now I'm going to go spend time with family. I actually only checked on to see if there was a response, not even expecting one. I'm kinda surprised you're here already.))

(I'll cut that part from the response if it doesn't work, I just thought it was pretty Metroid-y to have something happen in the final fight that turns it around a bit after she gets wounded. Like in Fusion and Super.)
